I’d like to know why the twins were separated? Was that something recent?

WHEN specifically did it happen and who has seen the baby since then?

I think this little baby has been gone for awhile. As someone mentioned upthread, this reads like the Emmanuel Haro case with the fake kidnapping.

I know we can't sleuth the mother as she's not named as a suspect but I did check to see if there were family court records relating to custody, support, etc. under the father's name. In GA I didn't find anything using search:GA. All I found was a civil court record involving the father (same name, full name can be found in white pages for that area, and same age) in another state (Trumbull Co. MO Case 2013 UR 00002) https://courts.co.trumbull.oh.us/eservices/home.page.2. It was a reciprocal petition which can involve support (or sometimes mutual restraining orders) involved a young woman and was ultimately dismissed when he seemed to have left the area and could not be served served papers nor accept the registered mail.

The only mention of the twins is in August.
I hope LE searched those storage units.

There have been updates since this news report. The father has been arrested on unrelated charges, and he claims the baby was taken during a robbery.

Both cases were disposed, but I'm not seeing if he was found guilty, not guilty, or anything.
I don't feel good about this at all.

Thanks for that. Georgia court records are NOT user friendly. Search:GA which is supposed to have all cases didnn't show those at all. Other counties yes, but not these cases. https://researchga.tylerhost.net/CourtRecordsSearch/#!/search?q=Antonio Pearce. There WAS a paternity case for an Antonio P. in Lowndes county in 2010 but no middle name so I couldn't be certain it was the suspect.

This isn't the first time cases failed to show up with that particular court record database even if searching by a specific county, so thank you again for finding this!

The county records had details of outcome, sentencing, probation, etc. Given the timeline, the child involved would not be the missintg baby as it was 2022. Did he have custody? Did he LOSE custody or parental rights?

Poor baby, why is this becoming so commonplace?!!!! It’s heartbreaking.
