Or all the ramen noodles ;)
Did she wear glasses before I can't remember?
I was wondering about that too. I don't remember the glasses but maybe she wore contacts previously and now has a lovely pair of jailhouse issued glasses.

Is there court tomorrow?
I was wondering the same. Do they take long weekends in court? This judge seems to want to push through with the trial. I like her.

There is court tomorrow. 9am (half an hour later for the broadcast)

Courts are closed on Saturday and Sunday in Georgia.

Watch Jailbirds on Netflix and you will learn more about jail life than you ever wanted or needed to know. Casual daily traffic in drugs and brewing of pruno is real.

MOO

Jailbirds is my favorite. I wish they’d make another season. :D

I'm not sure but I hope so. I've sat through everyday so far but today made me really depressed. Specifically the young girl who testified at the end of the day. She had me in tears. I can't wait until this is over and she's convicted.
When mommy dearest (who was supposed to have custody of Quinton) went away on a multi day job if I remember correctly. She was supposedly Quiton's actual legal gardian. I hope she is somehow charged. There's no way she didn't see how Quinton was being treated. Add to that all the drugs and alcohol in the house. If nothing else she was neglegent.

Someone said upthread (I cant find the post to tag whom I'm so sorry) that sometimes defense attorneys have them wear glasses for the "extra" persona of themselves. So probably reading glasses I am assuming.

I will respectfully estimate that this will be a faster jury return than with Chad Daybell.

What I can't get over is that she thought Quinton looked exactly like his father and nothing like her.

Now, I've never seen a picture of Quinton's dad, but to me, Quinton looks like a little carbon copy of one person - HIS MOTHER.

MOO
Now we're closer to her deeper truth. She's filled with resentment and there's Quinton looking JUST LIKE HER but no way is she deep enough to understand that she took out all her rage at the world on her own likeness.

He just want to be loved.

The abuse the young babysitter observed was difficult to listen to. I can only imagine what her mother as the adult babysitter witnessed. LS's abuse of QS is enough to lock her up aside from violently murdering him and throwing him away in the trash. No remorse, just smirks when hearing what others saw what she did to her child as she pretends their testimony is untrue and shocking to her. She appeared to actually hate QS and blamed him for everything wrong in her life. She is a waste and if not for seeing justice for QS I would not even watch her trial. I can't stand looking at her. I think presenting the last two witnesses in the order they did was a masterstroke by the prosecution.

By following the seance lady with the teenager, suddenly, the weird stuff from the first testimony drops away and what you're left with us the strong similarities between the accounts of the attitude LS had about her son. And not just implicit - attitudes she would loudly proclaim to a 14/15 year old kid who is actually parenting her son.

It was a great move. They couldn't remove the woo from witness one, so they balanced her against witness two to make her more credible. Very clever.
I agree.

Remember the jury questions? They were asked about how they felt about psychic abilities and such, so the prosecution knew the defense was going to attack her. Mr. Dean played it very well.

I am just not sure if this article has been posted already, but I did not see it on the newer curerent thread... I think this just reminds us that LS really did pick up lovers and have babies so randomly...

But Quinton's father did warn, even though he was not heavily involved. LS practically assured that HM would not be connected to Quinton. ... His name is not even on the birth certificate.

DY seems to be decent guy. HM seems to be a decent guy. Everyone seems to be in trouble with drugs, but the real dangerous "piece' alway seems to be LS.

Yes, he is the absolute spit of her. I think if you were shown his photo and didn't know it was Quinton you could easily believe they were photos of her as a baby.

Instead, she could have tried to give him the love, attention, and protection she wished she had.

I know. She wasn't able, capable, willing, interesting or gonna.

She made that poor boy's life in her presence miserable. Because she was. A miserable excuse of a --

Good morning!

LS is getting in trouble for mouthing 'thats a effing lie' at the teenager.

Defense is saying she has the right to communicate to the defense and that the camera picking her up is not their fault.

Judge is basically saying, I didn't see it, not saying you did or didn't, but don't do that.
