They're going to play an interview from after she was being arrested, after she was Mirandaised.

This was done at the FBI office in an interview room.

It was three hours long. Lemmons and Dean with a little smile and laugh assure the jury they're not watching the whole thing.

The video is odd. It is very casual and relaxed, given the circumstances. It's like LS and Solomon are just having a chat like girlfriends.

Ugh, Leilani keeps wiping her eyes and nose with her shirt sleeves even though there’s a box of Kleenex right in front of her. Gross. The lady holding her hand finally pulls out a tissue and hands it to a blubbering Leilani.

I suspect the only time we might will be once the defense begins. The only time Letecia Stauch showed any tears was when we were getting the 'sad backstory' section of her life.

uggh, I tried but nope if anything the mushmouth effect of this video is even worse than those aired previously.

Interesting, Leilani is watching testimony of detective Lemmons and her eyes start blinking rapidly. I’ve seen this with her before. I think (so only IMO) that it’s a “tell” which indicates stress. The detective is talking about some lies from Leilani so it fits.

I have also noticed this as well. She tried to keep her mouth the same but the eyes show everything. The way they dart around when someone says she lied or she gets busted with cell phone data. Very telling.

Ah, Leilani was claiming to have a (convenient) two hour lapse of memory. Um, okay.

She claimed the last things she remembered was looking at Quinton when she got home from Arkwright and then she was driving back from Azalea. She's claiming a two hour period of amnesia. So exactly the window of the crime.

Later in the interview she vividly describes dumping the trash bags again, in contradiction with her claim of memory loss.

When asked if she used a trash bag (to dispose of Quinton) she says she didn't grab a trash bag. Does not deny disposing of Quinton.

At one point detective Solomon said to Leilani something like “You hid him in the dumpster because you harmed him.” Leilani didn’t respond or refute the accusation. There were other similar comments and Leilani never denied, she just didn’t say anything.

This was an important interview IMO. I’m ticked off that the audio was so bad.

Every time she lied was her sharing her 'latest theory'. She said orajel was just a dream.

They're talking through all the specific details she laid out for her stories about things like the trash bag. Size. Colour. Weight. Smell. How she threw it away. Which bin she put it in.

"Do you think you might have killed him?"

"You harmed your child"

"You hid him in the dumpster because you harmed him in some way."

LS did not respond to any of these questions or statements, even to deny.
