I have to agree, they certainly look like meth heads. But, just like you said... even if they are drug users, it could never excuse these vicious crimes. After all, there are plenty of drug users who don't kill their grandparents.

To me......his nose looks like he's been in a fight of some sort. Perhaps his victims fought back or maybe his own parents even?
But I do have to wonder if there were drugs going on here as well?????

I know that happens too but I tend to find that the minority of them. I have no idea what this girls issue was. we will see.

Sometimes it is because of abuse. But not always. My friends daughter ran away a lot. But she was never abused or treated badly by her parents. They had 3 kids, the other 2 were honor role students and great positive kids. But the middle child was always a troubled kid. As long as I can remember she was very difficult.

She ran away a lot because she liked to go party and have fun. She did a lot of drugs, dated older guys, and shoplifted and went along on car jackings.

She didn't need to do any of that. Her parents gave nice allowances to the kids for attending school and doing modest household chores. But she couldn't be bothered...

I am getting the same vibe from this girl...

It said in one of the previous articles that his parents fought back after the teens went over kill them.

They did a great job but what a horrible situation for them. Fighting against a murderous intruder...your own son.

But this case seems different to me. She lived with her grandparents, killed them viciously, then went to his parent's home to assault family there too.

So were ALL of her family abusing her? First her parents, then she moves to her grandparents, and they abused her too?

I think it was the other way around. Her parents felt they couldn't get along with her or communicate, so they asked their parents to try?


Also, she helped her boyfriend assault his sister with a baseball bat. I doubt his sister ever abused or mistreated her.

Rider and Bjorge were at the Rambling Woods Drive home, which is shared by his mother and sister Saturday night. When his sister got home from a restaurant with her boyfriend, she told police she found her room had been torn apart with several items missing, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports. That led to an altercation.

Rider is accused of spraying his sister and her boyfriend with pepper spray, and then hitting the boyfriend while yelling for Bjorge to get a baseball bat, police said, according to the Journal Constitution.

Rider’s sister told police Bjorge went and got a bat and she used to to strike Rider’s sister in the back and head repeatedly, the newspaper reports.

Gwinnett police were called to Wendy and Randall Bjorge’s home often — 31 times between October 2015 and March 2017.

“Out of that number, we responded 18 times for runaway calls and at least eight times for check often as possible (calls) by request of neighbors. There were several other domestic dispute calls and illegal drug suspicion calls answered at the location.”

Cassandra Bjorge was known as a frequent runaway.

Seems to be a lot of " known to the victims " killers...I've estranged myself from my sib's troubled offspring

well I can't say I blame you. My sister is schizophrenic and her son is well, way beyond that. She keeps making a relationship with her a nightmare and for my peace of mind I too have estranged them both. I have tried but each time she attacks me verbally, and I haven't done the first thing to her. I sent her a gift and she accused me of sending her information to everyone. SMH

My son's best friend was a frequent run away. Not because of abuse, but because he didn't like rules. He hated "being told what to do" - this started at the age of 12. His siblings are all well-adjusted, normal kids with no history of running away. He is now 19 and has a hard time with jobs. He is a very hard worker; but, again, he hates rules and someone else having authority over him. He was actually diagnosed with ODD at the age of 16 when he made it in to juvenile custody.

i have a 19 year old just like that. he has never run away. hes doing ok so far and no arrests but I constantly worry about him.

I know some kids are just bad seeds. I was just stating I wonder why .

Death penalty could be sought for man police say aided in grandparents' killing

A district attorney says he'll request the death penalty for a man accused of murdering his girlfriend's grandparents.

The prosecutor says a plea deal is on the table for now.

Johnny Rider’s girlfriend is also accused in the murders but legally she's too young to face the death penalty.

This and was Cassandra charged as an adult? I know she couldn't be be given the death penalty, but she should certainly be given a very loooong sentence. She wasn't an adult but she is no child either. 16 is way old enough to know you don't beat your grandparents to death FFS! Just looking for any updates on this case. TIA
