Did you know AS is suing Hemy for wrongful death?

This is The Height of Arrogance!!

She took him away from his family even before he committed the murder; she took advantage of him in every way; she ruined poor Hemy's family; she drove Hemy mentally sick, imo; and now she wants whatever scraps are left or that may come. She effed him every way there was....

I guess Hemy can say goodbye to his jailhouse snack fund, too.

I still think she's not out of the woods with murder charges and something may push Hemy to finally tell a reasonable story that doesn't involve 70's disco singers in to his motivations. He had a devil on his shoulder alright but it was less Barry White and more Drama Queen Atlanta suburban "trained dancer".

And AS own mother testified that she also didn't know RS was shot till she got to the medical center. AS mom testified she was riding in the car with Andrea and they still didn't know what had happened to RS.

Maybe they will charge her with perjury in the next case....

Andrea Sneiderman friend disputes prosecution timeline

A friend of Andrea Sneiderman testified Tuesday that the Dunwoody widow was mistaken when she said she learned her husband, Rusty, had been shot from an emergency room doctor at the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

http://www.ajc.com/news/news/local/andrea-sneiderman-hasnt-decided-whether-shell-test/nZNDj/

Good synopsis of day 7, coldpizza -- I was up until 3:00 am catching up on yesterday's testimony -- as someone said upthread, I am also not impressed with the defense team -- you would think with the amount of lawyers on the team, they would have come up with a better strategy than what they have so far -- but, then, they don't have much to work with -- and to top things off, the prosecutors did a great job crossing the defense witnesses -- Andrea didn't look too happy yesterday. Can't wait for today.

The Great Conundrum: When did Andrea know?

It seems to me that the defense is really muddying the waters hear with Elizabeth Stansbury saying that the "forgetful" administrator told her that Andrea fell off her chair at the daycare when told of Rusty's shooting.

In my most very humble opinion, I would have to say that the "forgetful" administrator just may have originally folded to the defense wishes that she testify for Andrea and then realized she would be committing perjury. So, she got up on the stand and made a hash of it. Enter Elizabeth to the rescue!

Face it, folks, in spite of this testiphony, the truth should prevail here.

Don Sneiderman testified at 2 trials as to when he found out Rusty had been shot. It was from Andrea on her way to day care. What father could forget the contents of such a call? His follow-up with Dunwoody Prep just confirmed it. I do believe that he must not have believed Andrea and didn't indicate he knew Rusty was shot when he called there. He wanted clean confirmation.

The co-worker's text message is visible proof as well.

Then, we have Shayna, who cried just a bit too much vs. the Real Estate attorney who giggled way too much and seemed to have little memory of law school lessons about such things as standing for the jury and the concept of sequestration.

Finally, we have the defendant herself on video saying in no uncertain terms that she DIDN'T know Rusty had been shot until she got to the hospital.

Oh, and don't forget Mom. She testified they didn't know what happened to Rusty until they got to the hospital. Of that, she was absolutely sure.

If there is a rebuttal to the defense, I would bet my bottom dollar that there will be witnesses to disabuse the jury of this new notion coming from the defense.

I would love to see AS on the stand today or tomorrow. She would probably say that, at the time of Hemy's trial, she had simply forgotten when she was told! Maybe this time, she will have practiced acting like the grieving widow just as she did on her way into Dunwoody Prep. Pretty funny, that whole scene!

I would also love some corroboration to all of her falling off of chairs! Notice Elizabeth said she "fell off her chair" when told by the "forgetful" administrator of the shooting... just like she "fell off her chair" at the hospital when told of the shooting.

Would love to see the doctor who told her the bad news at the hospital describe the incident as well! Heck, how many times does one fall off a chair???

I'm off to the Hemy trial to see if I can locate that doctor's testimony.

Mornin peeps. Is anyone thinking the def wil rest today?

CP,thanks for moderating us, and keeping us upto date. It's a little late now to change their mind in one of the main points of AS's story, isn't?
I am having a hard time thinking all five hot shot attorneys had't thought of this before the literal end of the trial. It gives the appearance of a screw up, even though these are respected, experienced attorneys. How will the explain their switch up?

mornin Carolina.
this reminds me of one of those cliffhangers the soaps used to use to keep peeps tuned in to the next episode. " Is it John's baby". "No no. Didn't you know John had the mumps as a child and is sterile???" Enter mystery music.
If Andrea is convicted, I can see her and her folks suing all five attorneys . Haha
thanks for the informative post. Going to be an interesting day.

Justice - I do think by the end of the day the DT will rest but I do believe they will call AS's father to the stand.

I also believe the arrogant AS would like to take the stand but her lawyers have been advising (begging her) NOT to take the stand. Yesterdays information that she would like 24 hours to think about it was a load of BS. AS has almost a year to sit home and think about a potential murder trial.

Who could think of anything else?

Oh Oh Good morning everyone.

Why is the Rabbi reading these emails?

  • #413
When all else fails put your Rabbi, Minister, priest, etc. on the stand.

I think they are trying to legitimize AS's behavior by using this witness - his reading these emails is so weird to me.

Also, what school begins kindergarten in April?

Maybe this registration was for the upcoming school year. Many schools do this at the end of the school year for planning purposes.

Listening to these emails it sounds like HN made a lot of accommodations for AS she was a new employee.

I don't think a man or another new employee would have had these accommodations - just saying.

These e-mails seem so, well.... irrelevant. :twocents:

DH was hired as the VP of a company... he didn't get vacation days for quite a while...

I'm sure GE had a schedule, such as 3 days after 6 months, etc. DH only did that post-retirement job for a year, but the vacation days were pretty scarce, as was the time to use them.

I think the rabbi just read an email HN solicited from another GE manager who said how well AS was doing - BUT he ended it with HOPE THIS HELPS.

This is indicates something was asked of this manager what and why?

this is why I always read the end of the book first. I want to see if it's worth my time. I want to hear the last e-mail, so I can figure out what his point is.
He seems a little desperate this AM. Lol
