The Great Conundrum: When did Andrea know?
It seems to me that the defense is really muddying the waters hear with Elizabeth Stansbury saying that the "forgetful" administrator told her that Andrea fell off her chair at the daycare when told of Rusty's shooting.
In my most very humble opinion, I would have to say that the "forgetful" administrator just may have originally folded to the defense wishes that she testify for Andrea and then realized she would be committing perjury. So, she got up on the stand and made a hash of it. Enter Elizabeth to the rescue!
Face it, folks, in spite of this testiphony, the truth should prevail here.
Don Sneiderman testified at 2 trials as to when he found out Rusty had been shot. It was from Andrea on her way to day care. What father could forget the contents of such a call? His follow-up with Dunwoody Prep just confirmed it. I do believe that he must not have believed Andrea and didn't indicate he knew Rusty was shot when he called there. He wanted clean confirmation.
The co-worker's text message is visible proof as well.
Then, we have Shayna, who cried just a bit too much vs. the Real Estate attorney who giggled way too much and seemed to have little memory of law school lessons about such things as standing for the jury and the concept of sequestration.
Finally, we have the defendant herself on video saying in no uncertain terms that she DIDN'T know Rusty had been shot until she got to the hospital.
Oh, and don't forget Mom. She testified they didn't know what happened to Rusty until they got to the hospital. Of that, she was absolutely sure.
If there is a rebuttal to the defense, I would bet my bottom dollar that there will be witnesses to disabuse the jury of this new notion coming from the defense.
I would love to see AS on the stand today or tomorrow. She would probably say that, at the time of Hemy's trial, she had simply forgotten when she was told! Maybe this time, she will have practiced acting like the grieving widow just as she did on her way into Dunwoody Prep. Pretty funny, that whole scene!
I would also love some corroboration to all of her falling off of chairs! Notice Elizabeth said she "fell off her chair" when told by the "forgetful" administrator of the shooting... just like she "fell off her chair" at the hospital when told of the shooting.
Would love to see the doctor who told her the bad news at the hospital describe the incident as well! Heck, how many times does one fall off a chair???
I'm off to the Hemy trial to see if I can locate that doctor's testimony.
