I bet AS is wishing she took that plea deal right about now.

Stenomask Facts: stenomask connected to a pre-trained speech recognition system can exceed 180 words per min and exceeding 95% accuracy.

What I meant was, does she have to vocally say the person speaking's name every time someone new says something?

Sounds like a difficult way of recording things. I would get mixed up a lot.

10 years for murder...that's a pretty good deal for her. I hope that's 10 years WITHOUT PAROLE!!!

Wild About Trial @WildAboutTrial
If my guest of 5 hours deliberation wins I get a free WAT mug. If it doesn't no one gets anything. #Fair #HowIRoll #AndreaSneiderman

I think they can unanimously find her guilty of some counts but not guilty of others. But if there is a count or counts they cannot agree on, it would be a mistrial. That would be my guess!
I don't get the mistrial part. Wouldn't she just be not guilty of the counts the jurors can't unanimously agree on?

Loooong instructions. I have to change my guess for a verdict to in the morning at this rate.

Well this was the wrong day to be out taking care of business. Awesome posts WS'ers...so in short Clegg was a major jerk and Mr. James smooth as silk?

So my guess for the verdict in after lunch tomorrow unless AS begs for the plea before the jury comes back.

PS..Dekalb County can be very proud of their lawyers!,

There are 13 separate counts. It's like 13 different trials at once. The jury has to decide each count separately. As with a separate trial for each count, they can find her guilty, not guilty, or hang.

She will be sentenced on any counts where she is found guilty, and the mistrial for hung jury will apply to the others. Not guilty, no punishment.

I doubt they would re-try any hung decisions unless ALL the charges were hung jury.
