GUILTY GA - Sam Poss, 18, Perry, 15 Oct 2016 *Arrests*

  • #281
according to both killers FB and instagrams, they were into devil worship........period.........pentagrams, 666, 999, homicidal tendency posts, If i had a knife post, cryptic fb messages, many signs, one mentioned lying in bed waiting for the entity to return, wanting to stab someone in the throat, etc, definitely were into devil worship...........there was a black moon or something that weekend of Sam's murder, definitely full moon, OCt 13-30 is satanists preparation for Hallows Eve, abduction, holding and cermonial human sacrifice..............

The area where I think Sam's body was discovered, has been blocked off, it's a place in the woods where kids go driving and mudding or such..........flowers have been placed all around it, people can still walk down in there but no more cars allowed

Dakota's father is in prison for assault, robbery and attempted rape...........he is raised by his grandparents

Dont know much about the other one, Branden, except he lived in the nieghborhood, very near where the body was dumped

This is within a mile of my home, I do not personally know Sam or the killers.......poor Sam was an easy target, that's what any criminal looks for........God rest his soul

I got deja vu reading this case. All I could think about was my classmate who was killed by two of my other classmates one night because of "morbid curiosity". Not only was an entire sleepy, safe suburb violently ripped from their belief that nothing bad happens there, but three families were ripped apart. The one who supposedly shot her (there were rumors in my old high school that he is covering for the other one) had two younger siblings that were severely affected by the tragedy as they both really looked up to their brother. I knew and hung out with both of the guys, had friends that dated them, and we were all devastated and shocked that they would do such a horrific act. Especially to a friend and person as incredible and full of life as she was (Ashton glover). We still don't have the whole story, we're still all baffled as to why, and it is still a case that haunts me to this day. It's scary that something like this can happen, and happens more than we think.

on a facebook group page for sam, that seems to be affiliated with the family, an admin said recently that a motive has been established and the family is aware of it, but it has not been released to the public.

I'm intrigued as to what sorry excuse these animals could have possibly thought up for taking Sam :(

Horrible story. Im sorry that you and your community suffered so much. I found an article on this sweet girl. I will read about her when I get a chance. These kids today, despicable, morally deficient and have zero empathy. Scares the life out of my for my 21 and 16 year olds...

Thank you :( it was a very very sad time for all of us. I was 15 at the time and I still remember screaming when I heard she was dead. It definitely does make one scared for their kids!

Hi Dancinunderthemoon,

Thank you so much for the information concerning this area, especially about the part that flowers have been placed all around.

It is greatly appreciated to hear from someone in that area. Thank you.

You are welcome, it was/is a very sad time in our community. So sad to think a "friend" could do this. It may have been posted but this came out yesterday I think.. http://www.13wmaz.com/news/local/da...ld-before-deciding-to-kill-sam-poss/376668307

I have nieces and nephews at this school and I think it said LE knew who they had planned to kill before Sam, the 12 yr old but they didnt convey who, it would terrify that person to death Im sure....I dont know if the person knows..I dont know if it was another "friend" of these boys or a stranger, my family do not know these boys or rather aren't involved, but know who they are......Apparently one said at one time, I think last year, he was going to come back and shoot up the school, kids dont take these things seriously, they dont see real danger usually, but that should have been the first and only sign esp since all the school shootings that have occurred........at any rate, this scares me, it could easily have been an abduction and one of my babies......I m sad for all the families involved, the mother of Brandon broke down crying when some church group and a parent were given Bibles to pass out and they went to Brandons house and gave her one. She has 2 sons in jail now. This is the boy who lived in the neighborhood where Sam's body was put........Such a sad sad tragedy, the memorials and all for Sam were amazing...He will never be forgotten

From your link:

White appeared without emotion as Hartwig told Judge Lukemire that both White and his co-defendant, Brandon Warren, had planned a "suicide pact."

"It is my understanding, from what I know from the investigation, that before they could get up the nerve to actually kill themselves, they wanted to see what it was like to kill somebody," Hartwig said.

Hartwig continued by saying, that before White and Warren allegedly decided to kill Samuel Poss, they had formulated another plan:

"They had actually discussed about killing a juvenile in the Perry community," Hartwig said. "I'm not going to name that person, but I will tell you that they were under 14. There were discussions had between the two co-defendants about killing this minor."

Terrible.

More at link about how it all happened.

what a particularly senseless thing, no reason was likely to make sense, but this?

and that lawyer had the nerve to ask for bail? is he is as crazy as his client?

I don't think whoever first brought up killing someone else had any intention of ever killing himself.

So sad for Sam's family as they are experiencing their first Christmas without him.

Houston Co. Judge orders 'mental evaluation' for defendant in Poss murder

http://www.13wmaz.com/news/local/houston-co-judge-orders-mental-evaluation-for-defendant-in-poss-murder/451631336

Brandon Warren's attorney, Jeffrey L. Grube, asked the court in a motion, “To examine the above-named Defendant [Warren] to determine the following.”

It asks the court to order a mental evaluation of Warren’s “Competency to stand trial,” and “Degree of criminal responsibility or mental competence at the time of the act,” according to the motion document.

The motion asks the court, in part, to determine, "Whether or not the presence of a delusional compulsion overmastered his will to resist committing the alleged act."

In January, Brandon Warren pleaded not guilty to malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, concealing the death of another and tampering with evidence.

In February, the judge entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Dakota White.

‘18 beautiful years ... that’s what I want people to remember,’ says dad of Sam Poss

http://www.macon.com/news/local/article178783841.html

The 47-year-old Poss said he wants people to remember his son on the first anniversary of his death for who he was and not for the horrific way in which he was killed – allegedly at the hands of two other teens, including one his son had considered a friend.

“I want people to remember the 18 years of giving and caring and being here,” said Chris Poss, who works in information technology at Houston Medical Center. “ I don’t want people to focus on the tragedy.

“The tragedy is a big deal and it sucks and it hurts and it’s horrific,” Poss said. “But we had 18 beautiful years with a wonderful person, and that’s what I want people to remember: his goofiness, his sense of humor, his willingness to help. That’s the important part.”

Jury finds one of the teens accused of killing Sam Poss guilty

After just 20 minutes, jurors informed the court they had reached a verdict around 11:50 Wednesday morning.

Lukemire read the guilty verdict for all six charges.

Brandon Warren is scheduled to stand trial next week. Dakota White is expected to testify in the case.

White's sentencing will take place after Warren's trial concludes.

A Perry teen confessed a gruesome murder. So why did this case even go to trial?

From the outset, largely because of his confession, there was little doubt that White would be found guilty. And on Wednesday, he was. A jury of 10 men and two women deliberated for all of maybe 15 minutes.

White’s own lawyers hardly challenged the state’s allegation that White choked the life out of Poss while a friend of White’s stabbed Poss with a knife. White didn’t take the stand, but in his confession he said he and his friend had entered into a suicide pact, and before killing themselves they wanted to see what it felt like to take someone else’s life.

White’s attorneys rested their case without calling a single witness.

A casual observer might wonder why White even bothered going to trial. Why he didn’t just plead guilty and spare everyone the trouble?
