[Truthful Lies]

Okay, I'm pretty interested in this case...mainly because, I could have ended up in just her situation had I not made some interesting (impulsive) changes in my life...and had the luxury of a supportive family and insurance-covered (nice) rehab.

I'm only bringing this up in case it could lead to more information (which I certainly think it could, if I'm correct). I read a bunch of comments and posts here and elsewhere on possible drug usage...and I was there once.

Here's one obvious thing only if she did use anything...certainly something I would have thought about if I were moving: I would want to see my "connect" to get some stuff before I went out of town and CERTAINLY if I were moving....you don't know how long it will take when you go somewhere else to "find" another connect.

I was lucky enough to have one that was a good friend of a good friend...and they were very careful. If Sunday's "connect" were just an acquaintance or a friend of a friend (casual), she'd likely not have that "protected" status among the dealers/other people. Just sayin'.

And I'd say one of her friends definitely had to have known who she scored from (whatever her drug of choice, even if it was just weed)....they may not have ever met the person, but I highly suspect she would have said the name of the person she was going to meet at SOME POINT to someone....maybe not near her disappearance time, but I can easily see her chatting on a phone to a girlfriend and saying "well, I'm on my way over to so-and-so's house...let me call you back".

I've seen it over and over with different people. No one really hides the first name/nickname of their dealer...and usually the dealer is smart enough to go by a moniker (and only a select few know their real name or where they live...if they're smart).

My boyfriend suggested this when I ran my idea by him: he agrees with my theory....but here's a twist: perhaps she owed the "connect" money, and somehow they found out she was moving. Another idea: she would have tried to get more than usual to tide her over and some addicts intentionally get small amounts at a time so they don't OD if they have very little willpower (it's one "safety" method with one's self).

JUST THOUGHTS for someone (if close to her) who might read this....see if that can yield some information. A boyfriend would have most definitely known who her connect was. Has he been thoroughly investigated? He wouldn't have wanted her to move...perhaps she told him she didn't want a long distance relationship.

I have no judgement...think she's beautiful inside and out (from what I know). Praying for her.

Oh lord...that means she interacted with the public all day long...and worked scheduled hours. Some weirdo could have followed her...or knew she was moving....that opens up a whole 'nother can of worms.

She wasn't working at the time she went missing. She was unemployed. But she still could have been in contact, through work, with someone who ended up watching her even after she was no longer working there.

H is RE's husband. I'm not sure on H's last name. Appareantly they're not getting along too well, and RE has recently had some psychological issues, for which she seeked help. RE & H were the folks who allegedly "opened up" their Briarwood Ln home to Sunday and Izzy.

H was allegedly a POI in the beginning of the case, based on statements made by TC in Tally. IMO, I don't think he had any involvement.

I would really like to know the location Sunday's cell phone last "pinged".

This is usually information that gets released to the public relativley quick.

For example, in the case of Brittanee Drexel (missing from Myrtle Beach SC 4-25-09) Granted they have not recovered her, nor have they made any arrests. But they released the info regarding her last cell phone ping, which was received in the Georgetown County area, 45 miles south of Myrtle Beach. That info was released DAYS after her disappearance. That info shifted the search to the Georgetown county area, and now LE has 3-4 POIs, from that area. I hope they make an arrest soon. Point is - The cell phone ping info greatly assisted in the search for Brittanee.

Other notable cases where a cell phone ping provided valuable information:

Elizabeth Olten
(Though I am not very familiar with these 2 cases)

:banghead: It's frustrating when we, as the general public, are not provided with the additional information needed to help find this girl. Perhaps LE has this info, and for reasons unknown to us, they are keeping it out of the public eye. Let's hope this is the case.

Regarding facebook,twitter, and myspace you can link but do not cut and paste. But the goal is to really only link to those that are directly linked to a case.

IOW, we don't want to post to someone's mother, brother, employer, milkman , or postal carrier just because they know the main player. It just gets too invasive and half the time we are not even sure it is the right person. When a post starts out, I found 5 people with this name do you you think any of these are [insert person here]? that is not a good thing.

It will often be up to mod discretion as to who can and cannot be linked, but the general rule of thumb is if they are named in the media specifically as having some role or are being questioned or have information then you are probably safe to link. No screen caps and no cutting and pasting. If a social media is set to private and you get in the back way and post what you see, that is not a good thing!Private means private.

Just imagine if is you if you cannot decide and you shoulod be able to figure out if it is ok.

You are free to discuss what you may come upon,but if it is just a lot of gossip and rumor it won't fly. People open facebook accounts and post whatever they want and to carry that as some sort of inside info is careless. but, sometimes there is really valuable information that may even come into evidence as in the Caylee Anthony case.So, if you know for a fact it is the right person and they are named outright in the msm as someone linked to the case it should be fine. IF IT IS A MINOR DON"T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!

If something was posted as public and then removed you might be able to post it, it is up to the mod of the forum and it depends on who, what, when and where.

The mods are listed at the bottom right of the forum under the index, they can generally help. If not, they will ask admin for guidance and we will all decide what is best.

Generally we try not to invade everyone's privacy and if the linked information has no bearing on anything, then leave it out.

BTW, the river I have previously mentioned is on the #1 "backway" from S GA to Tallahassee. Very little LE presence. The highway is known to 2 types of folk- ones who live out here in this lovely country, and ones taking this way to avoid the cops. If someone was going from TLH to Tift is IS a likely route. Esp. if you don't wanna see anyone you know. Just sayin'

Authorities search Fletcher Road area for signs of Sunday Blombergh

TIFTON — Volunteers with Tift Area Rescue searched a creek off Fletcher Road Thursday for signs of a missing Tifton woman as a Georgia State Patrol helicopter also searched from the air for Sunday Blombergh, who disappeared from her southern Tift County residence April 22.

Nothing was found, which didn’t disappoint a GBI agent involved in the case.

“Hopefully it ends up the other way,” said Mark Pro, assistant special agent in charge at the GBI’s Sylvester office.

Pro said late Thursday that no specific tip led to the search and that law enforcement agents are searching areas that Blombergh frequented before her disappearance.

CB Gal, I know the area you are speaking of well, I grew up in the county next to Tift. Most of the back roads are really isolated with lots of wooded areas and farm land, very little traffic.
Maybe this will be Sunday's week when she is found!! Her little girl needs her.

Looking at a map, Fletcher Road is close to Ferry Lake Road and the Lil Pantry where she used to work. Did she know someone who was living out in that area? We still do not know who the boyfriend(s) are, but do know she was dating someone in Tifton.

If I understand your question - you are asking about the Fletcher Road area?

IMO (And the opinion of other locals) Fletcher Road is considered the bad area of Tifton, that and Ferrylake Rd. I imagine there are drugs readily available thoughout that area.

I read the article referenced above, previously, right now it's pissing me off because it keeps crashing every time I try to bring it up (grr)

IIRC The article states that they searched a creek, and the search ended at an abandoned waste water treatment plant (WWTP)

(Piror to reading above mentioned article) When I was in Tifton I spotted that WWTP off of the road, and went back there and nosed around. Not to sound like a psycho, but it truly did seem like a good place to hide a body. I saw the creek and walked along the edge of it for a while. My friend and I covered that area pretty well.. looking for paths that may have been made leading deeper into the woods behind it, found nothing.. Also no unusual odors.

Hello - long time reader.. registered some time ago and not sure if I actually posted or not. I've had interest in many different cases and help build and maintain a couple of missing persons forums. I found out about Sunday through my facebook account and have not been able to get the case off my mind. The lack of media coverage is very disturbing to me. It seems as though if there is anything questionable about the missing person the coverage is dropped like a hot potato. I saw this same thing happen with the Jack Berry Jr case as well. It's disgusting.

I am not sure if it's been said but Theo's recent arrest was due to finding out his girlfriend cheated. I think he beat up the girl and the guy she cheated with. Seems unrelated this case but very suspicious with the timing.. like he was carrying guilt or something that sent him over the edge.

I wonder about the police both in Tifton and in Tallahassee. Nothing released by either of them.

Found this today and wanted to hear opinions about it.. think there is any truth to this?

So, so much water around here. Good places to hide a body? Thats everywhere.
I grew up riding my horse through woods and across rivers..how many places did I encounter that my horse...did NOT like. Places where it gets cold all of the sudden. Nothing moves. No birds sing. All through this beautiful place, there is violence. Concealed violence. My horse would breathe heavy, the white of her eyes would show. She would not go foward. NO! she'd be saying, and I could feel it too. It's one part of how I came to care about those without a voice any longer. because of that horse... I knew the woods do not forget, and I could never forget what was around me lest I be lulled into a (false)sense of safety.

I have two directions I am going... In my dreams, my heart..I have been seeing and feeling one message. A man. Known to her but not well. People have seen them talking, he blends in in a redneck kinda way. ( I actually have a red neck, so it's not a put down) She knew he was *whatever* towards her but no idea what was behind it. In my dream it was a country diner type thing.

Then, In my mind, I try to make sense of something that never, ever MAKES SENSE anyway...and it tries to connect dots to make a picture. The two sides of me do not meet here... I see logical connections, but sometimes I feel that is just a wish, a way to make it easier to accept. No one wants to believe the universe could dole out such evil, randomly.

where are the cadaver dogs? (I am sorry, but I feel she is gone)

Iron bridge at kemp road/ Old bainbridge. Close enough to start feeling like you're gonna get away with it, but far enough to leave no trace up there. Or in TLH. They could look forever up there or down here and it's just..the wrong place. it's in between.


I dissect my own possibilities.
I know, would someone take her that far away? if it was someone from here, well..they would not bring her here and put her on their land, if they are sane enough to keep it together on the outside. I asked myself ..does it make sense...well, does doing the first part make sense? Anymore or less than driving her that far? The time of day?..there is plenty of time before dark when she went missing...where is that time in this scenario? I don't know. but my little voice has gone from a whisper to a scream about the river near my own home. It s Just a thought.

I'm not sure about the rules about this.. and I'm sure there are different feelings about this person but I thought I would just put it out there.

Gale St. John was involved in the searching for Caylee Anthony. She was on Nancy Grace a number of times. I have discussed this case with her and she had given me a few feelings she had right off about the case (if it's allowed and anyone is interested would post what she gave). Gale also mentioned she would be willing to go to Georgia and search. My thought was..maybe if she got involved NG would pay more attention and give some coverage (since she is familiar and worked/interviewed Gale quite a few times in the past). As far as I know NG was going to have a segment on it but all I have seen is a web article and nothing on the show yet. This case needs nation wide coverage. That little sweet girl likely is missing her mama in the worst way.

there are several cases she missed on her list though...

Sabino Llona
Mike Williams
the Blue Sink murders
and ...one so blatant it's sick.
That I cannot mention because they let her killer go, and when I say that I mean, they knew..and he walked cause he's friends with those guys.

That is really upsetting. You'd think with all these questionable cases FBI would step in and investigate.

Here's a few things mentioned by Gale

Mount/Mont perhaps Montreal - not in Canada but perhaps a connected street.

She felt she is north of Tifton and then gave me Harris or Harrison
(I see two Harrisons in Georga, both north one in Washington County
another in Madison county)

Then she asked who drove the beater.. got a rusty car

then she said forest green came to mind.

She felt that Sunday was concerned with who took her book.. perhaps a journal

She also didn't get a feeling that Sunday was still alive or left on her own.. that foul play was definitely involved

Also that the searches were not close to where she is at all.


I think that's it.. I know people have different feelings on stuff like this. In the case of a missing person (especially one that the media wont touch) it can't hurt anything to put it out there.
