With all of the details together, I have no problem finding JRH guilty as hell and deserving of a life sentence.
But when it's picked apart, I find it very easy to believe he got so caught up in his sexting that he totally forgot about his son. There is no reason JRH needed to be late to work. He was up at 7. Men *usually* get ready for work in what - 10 minutes? Add a toddler (especially if child wasn't fed at home) and tops it is 30 minutes (that's stretching it). Was he laying (or is it lying?) in bed with Cooper watching Dora and sexting 6 different women. That takes an hour, heads off to work, continues sexting at CFA, puts kid in car, continues sexting, gets to work, continues sexting, goes to lunch. So wrapped up in his alternate life that he forgot his kid. Even if this scenario were true, I still think he is completely negligent of parental duties and should be convicted and imprisoned for a long time.
