Anyone remember if a witness administered CPR before police arrived? Wouldn't they have smelled an odor? So confusing.

From what I've read, the baby was in full rigor when he was pulled from the car. There would be no need for CPR.

Iirc witnesses saw first responders.

I don't think anyone actually attempted chest compressions or breaths. IMO

It didn't prove to be irrelevant.

The problem was that jury. Everyone with two brain cells to rub together were eliminated by voir dire.

IMO

And ones who should have been eliminated because by their own words, they "couldn't judge" weren't!

Where did you read that? Link please..

But again, Some parents will do anything to try and revive the child.

I remember.. I believe it was a witness statement.. the Dad was getting the baby out of the car and another man ended up assisting him and then he also did cpr because the Dad kept raising his hands in the air and yelling to the sky what did I do etc jmo

Witnesses at the scene were quoted and were interviewed.

That quote from cobb bothers me a lot. There was no need for it. It is just trying to get everyone upset and start the hunt. He really should have said nothing more than there is a current investigation.

I don't know if I believe anything more at this point. I just am not sure. But this kind of commenting helps nothing IMPO.

I would imagine he was very upset, and expressed it. I can't begin to imagine the horror.

IHAVENOCLUE - are you noticing that all the things you reference about the search on the computer are re-worded versions of exactly the same piece of information? That Randy Travis has been told by an unnamed LE officer that there was a search but the leak didn't say anything about when the search was conducted and they were unable to determine that information. That's all it ever says, article after article. It's the same exact snipped of info.

gotcha...

but... They are coming from reputable news sources...

You will see in a further post of mine why I keep this information tucked away for reference...

ALL...JMO

ETA... "Further post" should be "prior post"...:)

Well full rigor I have not read. Witness mentioned he was laying on the ground in the same shape he was sitting in the carseat. We assumed that rigor had started to set in. There were reports of CPR needed or not the father and I believe a witness tried. Remember he said the boy was choking

I saw it on CNN and I know it was also written because I commented here that I don't like when important witnesses are interviewed in the media.
Check CNN

I'm still struggling with the thought that the car would have smelled bad. Little babies smell sweeter than adults and this one was very small.

He wasn't a little baby. Almost two years old. HTH :seeya:

Until further evidence, I am going to ignore the computer search, and the smell in the car, and the 'choking' declaration. I am not sure of any of that anymore.

However, the obit declares that little Cooper was very verbal, especially while riding in the car. He would say " Hello red car, goodbye red car..." So now we know that Cooper was probably babbling and NOT SILENT, during that 5 minute ride to Daddy's office.

I just cannot believe that Dad could have forgotten Cooper was in the car, in that brief amount of time. Especially since Coop was wide awake, had just eaten, and was looking forward to seeing his friends. He would have been talking at some point during that time. Especially when the car stopped. He was a very verbal, social, smart boy.

It was at the very beginning of the thread. I'll try to locate it.

Possibly due to it not being true. The child was alive at CFA. No doubt. So if the child died in the car, We don't know when, It does not mean that it smelled of death. IT could have just smelled from dirty diaper in heat, vomit, pee.

I think that it has been removed because there is more to this.

To each his own...

So they should have been close enough to smell something if they helped get Cooper out of the car and do CPR no?
