“During an interview with Justin, he stated that he recently researched, through the internet, child deaths inside vehicles and what temperature it needs to be for that to occur,”

The last part of this statement also concerns me. It's as if he needs to know the exact temperature so that he can be "successful." Why would that matter if prevention and not murder were your intention? There is no GOOD temperature for a child to be left unattended in a car. "Oh, it's only 75 today, I can leave my toddler in the car all day while I work."

Why did he need to know what temperature was needed for death to occur? A concerned, worried parent needs to google methods of prevention...not "success."

Was June 18th the hottest day of the year at that point? Another coincidence- :nono:

I thought the rear-facing seats were for infants, not toddlers. I feel weird about that too, as if he wanted to not see his kid's face at all. JMO

No, rear facing seats are recommended until 2, or certain heights and weights are achieved. That's the recommended norm now.

But, I actually agree. He didn't want to see his son, and this helped.

I think it's more like putting the heart sticker on the duct tape.
A sick twisted psychopathic "Loving" little gesture.
Probably fed him one of his favorite foods.

All IMO

Casey Anthony is "nice" compared to this guy (if he is in fact guilty). There is no evidence she planned for the baby to be tortured for hours in an excruciating slow death.

The end result was the same.

No, now they are designed with higher weight limits and it's recommended that parents keep them rear facing until a minimum of 2 years and 20 lbs, but many seats are designed to hold kids rear facing much longer than that and some parents rear face as long as 4 years. And it's for crash safety/neck support, not because they don't want to see their child's face. Unless you mean he didn't want to see Cooper's face since he didn't invest in rear view mirrors?

One question please.....is the thought about researching dogs/animals dying in hot cars the one that was a myth? Is that because they are now saying he researched children in hot cars???????

Is that why it was denied from LE because it was not what he searched? Thanks if anyone knows.

IMO, people thought it was a myth because they are paranoid.

Now I have a different question. Was cooper normally in a rear facing seat? The rear facing seat is not strange to me, but what if he is normally front facing? Hmmm.

Did LE actually "deny" that they had evidence of such? Or did they just say something like "I don't know where these ideas come from".

HUGE difference that.

From my experience there is typically truth behind rumors of that nature especially when they are revealed so early in the investigation.

Personally, I never read it as a denial. I read it as a deflection.

I agree with you, they aren't going to flaunt the leak. LE's not going to say, "yeah we totally leaked that, giving you a little something to chew on there." They are going to have no comment. Par for the course.

Fact.

It was NEVER denied.

He said, "don't know where that came from"

I took it more like he didn't know who leaked the information.

And I was right.

This part sticks out to me, "He then began doing CPR on the child. When someone came to assist Justin he stopped providing medical attention to the child and started making calls on his cell phone."

He just abandons his son and starts calling people. Who? They say calls. What was he doing leaving his son to someone else to make multiple calls? And why does he have someone else call 911, of he HAS his phone? Those calls were more important than 911? Who the heck was he calling...gah...I want to know!! It seems the call to the wife was a bit later, because EMS was there and such. So who did he call before?

yes, thank you for that, at least I got to feel somewhat in the loop before reading 15 pages to get caught up :)

yep we called that one, the statement so many took as a denial of the searches was actually simply a deflection of the question and not a real answer.

I bet he was calling his wife. Not sure who else he would call at that time, unless it was 911.

If he did in fact call his wife, and then she had to call him to tell her what happened.....

Hmmmm. I really do not think this guy acted alone.
