Yes, but our children aren't dead after being left in hot cars.

If he was searching because he was concerned this could happen, how could he possibly forget his child was in the car in a short time it took him to drive to work?

It's even worse jjenny, he claims forgot his son in less than four minutes...His job was less than a mile away from where he last placed his child in his car seat at Chic Filet

wondering what the BBM part of the tweet means? Despite which comments? Has Leanna made some sort of statement about the search warrant and what was taken?

Police: Cooper Harris' mom also researched hot car deaths

http://www.11alive.com/story/news/crime/2014/06/28/justin-ross-harris-child-hot-car-death/11609645/

New search warrants released Sunday show Leanna Harris also admitted to police she researched hot car deaths and "how it occurs".

The warrants were for a Dell Dimension 9200 Computer Tower from the Harris' home, Google Chrome cast, a McBook Pro Laptop, a Lenovo T530 Think Pad taken from Justin Harris' car, an Apple MacBook Pro, and iPhone and an iPad from the car.

bbm I believe this is what is meant.

I think he meant the comments she made about researching children in hot cars. I could be wrong though.

This jibes very well with my own personal experience with a narcissist. My ex left job after job after fairly short stints, because in his mind, he was never appreciated enough, his brilliance was not recognized, and/or his bosses and coworkers were idiots or outright vindictive according to him. You could see this happening one time and it having some validity, but again and again? It starts to point to an internal problem and not an external one.

That sounds way too familiar. My ex pads his resume with the most ridiculous claims ever. He cannot hold a job longer than two years they find out he lied about his education, his past experiences and eventually catch him stealing, lying etc...he even went as far as to steal the ID of his former boss to open a corporate credit card in his name and rack up 20,000. I still do NOT understand how he got away with it and the man and corporation didn't press charges on him. He should have faced jail time.

Agreed.

No innocent explanation.

Unless his wife ties his shoes for him everyday

But didn't many of us on this forum recently look it up because of this case? I want to make sure these searches they claim to have done weren't surrounding the car death May 14th here is GA. It prob is a long shy I grant you that I'm just trying to cover every angle.

Look towards the end if the article; Little girl crawled in play hide and seek. So I misspoke earlier when I said the child was also left on accident.

I"m sure it would be more telling to know what was searched before and after the hot car temps.

from Ross reddit
no way in hell my "groom's cake" is having anything Auburn on it. It's the "groom's cake". Not the "our cake". The groom's cake is the one and only thing at the wedding that is only*his.

o boo boo!
really?

What the heck is a groom's cake?

According to the sworn affidavit HE said, he searched because he feared it could happen.

The warrant to search Ross' home was for "evidence to include papers, writings, documents, photographs, evidence of child neglect, child abuse and photograph the residence."

The warrant to search Ross' home computer was for "evidence to include a laptop computer, computer tower, Google chrome cast internet searcher and other electronic devises."

The warrant to search Ross' car was for "trace evidence including but not limited to latent impressions, hairs, fibers, fingerprints, blood, or DNA, a child car seat, cell phones, photograph the vehicle, take measurements of the vehicle, computers, electronic communication devices, any electronic data storage devices located inside the vehicle, any paperwork and or writings related to the crime of Homicide and Cruelty to Children"

The warrant for the cell phone stated the phone "will be physically examined, documented, the storage devices forensically imaged or copied (if necessary), and later examined for evidence of these crimes."

I can't tell you the weird things I have researched. However, in the event something odd happened and those searches were held against me I would say "Wait a second, I was doing research for this case and you can find my comments about it on this site."

Researching hot car deaths because you are worried about it seems odd to me. There are a number of reasons you don't leave your kid in the car. I have researched products to ensure it doesn't happen, because I am worried about it..but I have zero reason to research temps because I am worried. Because in my opinion any temp is the wrong temp, you just should not leave your kid in the car.

Agreed but I believe the same report when Randy Travis broke the story on the search he also said an explanation was given. Search warrants aren't giving full account of the convo and whatever explanation ( assuming it was just that he was fearful and didnt mentioned why he was fearful) and they don't have to. Just saying its something to consider. Yes its highly unlikely its a coincidence but if everything isn't considered disappointment might be voiced verdict time... I will be interested to see the date the search or searches commenced. Close to May 14th, if there are more than one search and if those were made close together

My oldest son died very young (nothing criminal). My father wrote a eulogy for him and one of the final comments he wrote was how he (his only grandchild at the time) would not have to suffer in this world (he was healthy and had never suffered in his young life) and wouldn't endure heartbreak, sadness, etc like the rest of us. I didn't think anything of it - it was just an expression of pure grief and trying to find SOMETHING out of such a horrible tragic event. Of course my dad would have preferred my son lived and went on to have a normal life - with the unavoidable heartbreak, sadness, grief we all suffer.

So, I won't judge Coop's mom (I have a Cooper and assume Coop is this little guy's nickname as well). Unless you have suffered the loss of a child, you just can't fathom the things a person will say or think. Right now maybe she is thinking about the sweet glorious life of her angel in heave resting in Jesus' arms. Trust me, in a week, she will experience the physical pain of her arms not cuddling this child and mental anguish you can't imagine. In my experience, the flowery religious stuff only goes so far.

Thanks for your point of view on that. Like I said, help me to understand this because I was thinking if I had a chance to bring my child back, it would be natural choice to do just that.

Yes but we don't know if he explained why he was fearful. I don't think those affidavits have to go into the explanation. Just the statement alone was enough for probable cause. I just want to look from all angles. Its not likely a coincidence but I will be waiting on the date of the searches. If it was close to May 14th a defense lawyer will jump on this in my opinion

the word "personal" is bothering. usually electronic devices are not considered "personal" in my mind. The search warrant was broad. It asked for specific items and "other electronic devices". Assuming one of them belonged solely to mom I don't seen where it would be termed "personal" by LE. Unless they also termed the devices used solely by dad as his "personal" items. The warrants did not simply seek devices used by dad, it sought any IMO

link to the warrant docs http://media.cmgdigital.com/shared/news/documents/2014/06/28/merged_document.pdf

I don't know, this case has me so confounded maybe I am just over thinking the word personal in this tweet.

Leanna Harris emphatically told a crowd at her son's funeral she loves and stands by her husband, even though he is charged with murder in the child's death.

"Am I angry with Ross?" Leanna Harris said Saturday. "Absolutely not. It has never crossed my mind. Ross is and was and will be, if we have more children, a wonderful father. Ross is a wonderful daddy and leader for our household. Cooper meant the world to him."

Bolded since it's a direct quote.
