I am guilty of that too. Like if nobody sees me do it, it doesn't raise my sugar levels

Not every time I go. But I sneak something sweet every now and then. And it's glorious!!!!

Mine does not really "hide" them anymore....I just give him the look and go on....it is frustrating but you can not force anybody, lol, or at least I can't,lol.:seeya:

Magistrate was an assistant DA for fifteen years prior to taking the bench.

I am curious over what they actually have. Not what the search warrants say. That is just a request for a place to search to see if they can find evidence. Not proof of a crime or proof that the man is guilty of anything sinister.

I hope today will provide clarification.

As opposed to random statements being used to make a case in the media.

I saw some debate regarding today's judge not having the capicity to grant bond and that a bond hearing would be held July 15th? Is this bit the case?

looks like (insofar as what has been linked this morning) that part two will include argument on bail... to include subp. from the defense side of the aisle for that portion so at this point who knows. I doubt if the judge could not hear it he would rule on it. :twocents: We just have to wait and see

yes, that is supposed to come out today. There are many articles detailing what may or may not come out today in court.

Wish I could remember where I read this morning giving some not very glorious remarks about this judge....maybe it was another one..hope so anyway.

looks like back in 2008 there was a nasty case involving a sheriff or undersheriff and a sexual assault in which Magistrate Cox was criticized for what was considered low bond given the accused official.

He was re elected despite that criticism but that case got a lot of play during the bid to maintain the seat. Google Wanda Spann.

I think it makes a HUGE difference! First he "accidentally" forgets the kid in the car after strapping him in 3 minutes earlier?

Then he FORGETS he is supposed to pick the kid up from daycare too? Not only forgets but makes plans with friends?

That goes way way beyond simple "forgetfulness". Once maybe, but twice in the same day? Actually 3 times because he commits to meet friends?

I thought it had been documented that the mother always picked the child up from daycare? Has that been proven to not be fact??

No it hasn't. As far as we know, that is the usual plan. Only the landlord has said that sometimes they alternate.

I hope they clear that up today. I am sure there is a record at the DC.

EVERY time for me. My sugar will drop without warning. My German Shepherd, at home, will alert me 10 minutes prior. But if I have to drive, I always take a glucose pill, before, then eat a candy bar when I get behind the wheel. I can usually tell, but about, every couple of years, one will sneak up on me, and my dog alerts.

Well, I haven't been called a youngster in a long long time, maybe 50 years, but I'll take whatever I can get!

To me, it looks like two hour hands and one minute hand, but I've never been the brightest bulb on the tree. :truce:

Read the statutes for what he's been charged. If leaving your child in the car for an entire day doesn't equal criminal negligence, I don't know what does. It doesn't have to be intentional or "sinister." Even if it was an accident, it was still neglect.
