The friend says he feels betrayed by Harris, but says people should save their outrage for the betrayal done to the little boy who was betrayed by the people who should have protected him.

So did Cooper bang up the back of his own head and scratch his own face struggling against being strapped in tight???

I just re-listened to that part of the testimony and it sounded like he was saying it happened after he died, which was not what I thought I heard when listening to it live.

You know the way we're all feeling right now? We didn't even KNOW them and we are in shock, disbelief, disgust.

Can you imagine what all their friends and family must be feeling right now?

Think about what the defense witnesses must be thinking right now.

The real victims here are of course Cooper and his poor grandparents and extended family.

I can't imagine what the families must be going through tonight. H3LL I think.

Maddox Kilgore will not be his attorney if this becomes a DP case as he isn't DP qualified. Likely he will get the best DP qualified public defender in the county.

I kept writing and erasing my thoughts on this case.

Really, it can be summarized into one sentence: How could you do this to an innocent baby?

Since he looked up videos, read and researched his chosen method of murder, he knew how badly he would suffer. And he didn't care. He didn't blindly choose this, thinking it was the easy way out. He wanted him to suffer, IMO. And, that is just horrifying.

He backed into a parking spot next to another car, no way he didn't look over his shoulder

When I caught that live during the hearing and posted it, I almost threw my keyboard across the room. (In the hearing thread)

:banghead:

I would love to have seen LH's face when the detective told the truth about Cooper! Was she still emotionless - smacking on her gum?

I swear the camera wasn't on her much. I would have loved to see her face when his sexting was mentioned.

And can you imagine the look on people 's faces when the dect said J was sending pics of his stuff while his son was dying in the car? OMG.....

This guy is one sick ------ fill in the blank.

After reading what happen in court today. I understand why dad left his
precious little cooper to die in the car......

Dad was so excited about having some me relax time with his work computer.

THIS WAS THE DAY TO SHOW OFF HIS EXCITED PONY....

I was struck by how unemotional Ross Harris was. I watched his face continually - every single statement that was made, I watched his response. His face was more unemotional than anyone could fake - it was a real lack of emotion. If I had no other evidence I would say "psychopath" but he may have been drugged (he did not look drugged) because he has recently been in the Infirmary in the jail. He definitely looked VERY depressed (to the point of no longer caring much about anything) - but I think he looked VERY depressed in the photos before all this - and I think he had good reason to be - his marriage was a sham, they were not having sex.. he was clearly a sex addict and that would be shameful for him as he is meant to be a church going good man, he was failing at work - did not get a promotion, could not get another job at Chick Fil A, his wife was upset at his spending patterns etc.

He did cry once or twice - real tears - I was sitting close enough to see the tears roll down his cheeks - but there were only one or two tears.. and it was at odd times - like when his brother said he was a good dad - and yet there was no emotion when we heard that the baby had been in so much pain, basically frying to death, that he scratched himself and hit his head against the back of the car seat - no emotion from daddy NOR from mommy - very very odd - I nearly threw up myself and I did not know the baby - and Grandma was sitting one seat away from me and she was having trouble not sobbing out loud, she was truly suffering.. poor poor family - they did nothing wrong and they have lost a baby and their whole view of both parents is probably changed forever after today

Thank you so much for sharing !!!!

What did you think of the witness that said he wept and mourned Conner and really stated RH was truly grieving?

Someone said earlier he may have had violent seizures from heatstroke before he died.

He said the scratches happened before he died, didn't he? I'm going to listen again shortly.

Only cried when his brother talked about HIM, hmm? Everything was about HIM.
He tortured his baby to death and got off on it because it satisfied HIS desires.
But even though his kid is dead he can get a tear because his brother gave HIM a compliment.

Makes me sick!

And the family, wow, I could really feel bad for them in this situation but the grandmother crossed the line if she called the judge an SOB.

More concern for RH and not for the child. Everyone seems to be concerned about the murderers in this case and not that poor baby, smh.

IIRC the face scratches were said to be made "before death" and had not healed. I thought at the time that they would be having expert testimony that either he had suffered some sort of mistreatment OR they were self-inflicted due to distress just before death.

I think someone speculated the abrasions on his head could have happened when he was placed on concrete in parking lot during attempted CPR (chest compressions).

I know that experts can tell by blood whether injuries occur before or after or just before death. Also - remember some talk to searches for blood evidence in the home and car....

They just interviewed the Cobb D.A. on local news - he stated there was still a *lot* of evidence to be gathered and examined before his office would make decision on final charges.

He was pretty animated/talkative when the detective first took the stand. Constantly bending over and speaking to his lawyer about different things coming on in his testimony. jmo

I don't think so, That is not what I got. To me it either happened before he died or to him before he died.
