I also agree with the fact that most people whose children die in cars receive a lot of sympathy/donations. They probably receive more outrage, but it's online outrage by strangers mostly. Most of them do 'benefit' - I hesitate to use that word because I believe most cases are accidental and the parents would much rather have the child back. So I can see why parents plotting a murder would think this was a way to get sympathy/money and avoid suspicion, although it's clear that there are often more questions asked and they apparently didn't prepare for that. But it's still so horrible. Unfortunately most 'peaceful' ways of killing a child (that sounds terrible but you know what I mean) are probably very suspicious.
