He backed into a parking spot next to another car, no way he didn't look over his shoulder

exactly. and his car didn't have a reversing camera. whether he looked in the rear view mirror or physically turned around there was no way for him not to see Cooper.

So much easier and more relaxing to read updates here, instead of tuning in HLN. I do appreciate others watching.

In GA, you lose points on your driving test for not grasping the passenger seat as well as turning your head while backing up. He would have had to purposefully miss Cooper's head with his arm due to where his head was in the middle of the 2 front seats, if not hovering over the middle console.

I also agree with the fact that most people whose children die in cars receive a lot of sympathy/donations. They probably receive more outrage, but it's online outrage by strangers mostly. Most of them do 'benefit' - I hesitate to use that word because I believe most cases are accidental and the parents would much rather have the child back. So I can see why parents plotting a murder would think this was a way to get sympathy/money and avoid suspicion, although it's clear that there are often more questions asked and they apparently didn't prepare for that. But it's still so horrible. Unfortunately most 'peaceful' ways of killing a child (that sounds terrible but you know what I mean) are probably very suspicious.

Low sex drive, difficulty with erections because of low testosterone

Do you know if he had been using it for a long time?

  • #1,030
Oh yeah...and he claimed to be an expert at that too!
Yet the car seat was too small.

I had my babies 23years ago ~~ by 22 months they were facing forward so I could see them and chat. How long are they rear facing now?

Yep - and he parked in a spot that had grass on one side (no parking slot) so there would be less chance of anyone seeing/hearing Cooper in the car.

Did Leanna have a car? I read(no link) the 1st week of this story she took a bus to pick Cooper up from daycare.:twocents: truth or rumor?

Can't wait for Nancy to put her defense lawyers on BLAST!:floorlaugh:

Yes she does and it has a different car seat in it.

Chris Wilkerson, friend of Harris, speaking to JVM right now. Says he's shocked. He met Cooper once; never met Leanna. Sounds like he's fighting back tears.

Hmmmmm that's interesting yet scary!

Anything stand out about Leanne and Ross's interaction if any?

I was struck by how unemotional Ross Harris was. I watched his face continually - every single statement that was made, I watched his response. His face was more unemotional than anyone could fake - it was a real lack of emotion. If I had no other evidence I would say "psychopath" but he may have been drugged (he did not look drugged) because he has recently been in the Infirmary in the jail. He definitely looked VERY depressed (to the point of no longer caring much about anything) - but I think he looked VERY depressed in the photos before all this - and I think he had good reason to be - his marriage was a sham, they were not having sex.. he was clearly a sex addict and that would be shameful for him as he is meant to be a church going good man, he was failing at work - did not get a promotion, could not get another job at Chick Fil A, his wife was upset at his spending patterns etc.

He did cry once or twice - real tears - I was sitting close enough to see the tears roll down his cheeks - but there were only one or two tears.. and it was at odd times - like when his brother said he was a good dad - and yet there was no emotion when we heard that the baby had been in so much pain, basically frying to death, that he scratched himself and hit his head against the back of the car seat - no emotion from daddy NOR from mommy - very very odd - I nearly threw up myself and I did not know the baby - and Grandma was sitting one seat away from me and she was having trouble not sobbing out loud, she was truly suffering.. poor poor family - they did nothing wrong and they have lost a baby and their whole view of both parents is probably changed forever after today

I am betting it is not marked on his Driver's license. The license he obtained whilst having to hear the examiner who was sitting to his right in the passenger seat. He was also an LE dispatcher!

It's 8:47 right now and I'm at this post, so forgive me if 1000 comments have already mentioned this.

If he is hearing impaired, wouldn't it make sense that he would be extra cautious and rely on his eyes more than someone else who doesn't having hearing problems? He would have to check and then double check when backing in his car and there's no way he would have missed Cooper sitting in that car seat. IMO
