HLN reporting Leanna Harris is at the courthouse and will be present during the hearing. I knew she would be there supporting him. No surprise in that - she has been supportive all along.

She should be. I am really interested in the opinions of our court watchers when they see/hear her.

I am in GA at work and I just went out to my car to plug my phone in for a bit. I was sitting in my car with the door open (but not running). It was so hot! All I could think of was poor Cooper. I was starting to get uncomfortable and I had my door wide open right next to me. I don't even want to let my imagination go there on how badly he suffered. Oh poor baby. RIP sweet one.

Every time I see a case like this, I always hope they just fall asleep and die. I know at some time they become unconscious, But I can only hope that comes on quickly. I know it can vary.

I never leave my iPhone or cameras or anything of electronic / battery operated stuff of importance in my car on a broiling hot day. I was of the belief that it would destroy it or the battery could explode.

Yeah I don't leave my phone in there either. That is why I was sitting in there with it while it charged for a few minutes. Ugh, I just don't want to think about it. If we don't even want to leave a phone in there....

Once when I was on the Golf Course My iPhone alerted me it was too hot. It was 90 that day outside in glaring sun.

I was thinking this morning, I wonder how many of the "sympathizers" in his church and other like them who call for "forgiveness" and "compassion" for the parents in cases like this, realize that they probably have contributed to the deaths of several children by perpetuating this attitude instead of one of zero tolerance.

Yup, I live in the desert. When I'm outside for awhile when temps are over 100, my iphone always lets me know it's too hot. I can't imagine how hot it was inside that car. Poor boy.
