On JVM the reporter says the wife only showed emotion...wiped tears, when the character witnesses spoke about him (Harris)

Gosh I hate being sucked back into HLN :( :hills:

This sickens me so much, like he got some sadistic pleasure out of planning his sons suffering. :(

Could be and that would make him even more of a monster. But I wonder if just "compartmentalized" it all -- took those 30 seconds before getting out of the car to decide whether he had his ducks in a row, perhaps say something to Cooper, and switch over to being "child-free" -- knowing that at least he had "happy last memories of being a good daddy" (with witnesses of course) and the next time he saw the child, it would no longer be his property (oops, child).... kind of like the CiA comment that it wasn't Caylee in the woods... it wouldn't be Cooper in the carseat when he saw him again. He said himself that he dreaded the way Cooper would look, and I think he didn't see his lifeless child as "his" any longer.

I'm sure that's why so many people who thought they knew him didn't -- he could separate all aspects of his life -- NPD/Sociopath, whatever you want to call it -- he's one of those.

much was made by defense atty that the light bulbs were special rounded globes for LH's vanity mirror. Does publix carry those special vanity surround bulbs?

Did Leanna have a car? I read(no link) the 1st week of this story she took a bus to pick Cooper up from daycare.:twocents: truth or rumor?

Can't wait for Nancy to put her defense lawyers on BLAST!:floorlaugh:

I cant get over what L.H said. She would rather see him instead of her baby. When I lost my brother, husband and dad(all separate occasions, all very unexpected) I screamed, begged, collapsed all in front of people I had to verify it all my self. I had to see them all to make sense otherwise I would never believe it. Her reaction and blasé attitude have me very concerned that this wasn't a accident at all. Mind you as well my losses were men aged 25, 35 and 59 and yes traumatic but definitely not the loss of my child. I would have begged to see my baby. So very sad for Copper.

His head was only SIX INCHES away from Coopers.

He claims he saw him because he turned his head to the right to make a right turn!

The witnesses for the defense were not very compelling

The first guy acted like he thought he was performing on CSI and going for a guest spot Emmy nomination LOL

Church lady couldn't wait to be able to state...she only knew him @ church.

After watching the video related to death in hot cars and searching all the info and then leaving his son strapped tightly in his carseat to die that way....he is doing his business. Anyone else think if he had gotten away with this that he could have progressed into a sadistic serial killer? eta

He is a sadistic killer. Do you mean serial killer?

I think it might be a part of all things she would do to keep her man.

HLN's female reporter was inside the courtroom and followed the family out. She told about the mom being helped to walk by two of her friends who sat on either side of her during the court hearing. The reporter said the mom held a finger between her eyes as she stepped into the elevator. I assume kinda wobbly.

My understanding then the reporter heard her, the mom, say, the judge was SOB for denying bond.

now that cracks me up -- says volumes

Absolutely.

I think it might have really given him a buzz having that power over someone else. I would have been watching my back if I was LH.
