I wonder if we will have confirmation of paternity of the deceased.

To me, child looks like a younger copy of JH.
No confirmation necessary.

Yes, wonder what all those supportive people at the funeral think of this bum now? I'd be embarrassed! Mortified.
I'd be all those things if this was my son who did those terrible things!

Not for me. I don't see it.But people used to tell me that my step son looked just like me!

Wonder how long LH has known about his cheating? Did they plan this so they could each move on to the child free life?
JMO

My experience with cheating spouses: in a dysfunctional relationship, the injured spouse (Leanna here) becomes even more desperate and clingy post revelation (wanting what she cannot have- his desire for her). Add into that equation, Ross not being able to perform with Leanna, causing her to feel terribly rejected, and I can foresee a scenario where Leanna would do anything he wanted to in order to "save the marriage".

Reporter on CNN just said she worked for Davita (spell?) kidney dialysis center. Sorry if this is old news. Still catching up.

I don't know what her deal is here. To me it seems that she behaves very strangely. Did she know/suspect what JH was going to do?

Wonder whose idea 'daddy/son' time was , dad's or mom's ? Did dad feel frustrated and stifled by the daddy/son time? Did mom remind him' today is daddy/son' time ?
You know, that's a weird time to have a scheduled bonding time with your child anyway...in a hurry ,on the way to work. Kinda the opposite of TIME spent together but maybe that' s just me.

I think it was for his image for the day. Alibi-ish, if you will.

What do you think about the fact that when LE offered for her to see Cooper, she told them no. She wanted to see Ross.

What do you feel about her first statement when she found out Cooper wasn't at day care?

While I am with the majority here concerning her, I've got to consider that it was the first thing that popped into her head due to the possibility that JRH had left Cooper in the car before. I've given her a bit of credence as far as her total demeanor is concerned for reasons I put in my post.

It floors me, though, that she didn't want to see her baby first. That's the first thing I would want to do in a similar circumstance. Then, I'd want to see my husband and confront him about what he did.

I am genuinely starting to think he isn't the only one that wanted to be kid free. Perhaps, someone else wanted to be husband free as well. Look, she had to have known he wasn't the brightest color in the box. He probably reached his max on what kind of job he would get and the salary he made. He wasn't getting any better jobs or promotions. She knew who she married. She knew he was cheating. She knew is was a bumbling oaf. I think many of us wondered if she was the brainwashed woman in the beginning. I am now wondering if she married down to be a puppet master. What if he royally screwed up a plan he agreed with, but was not entirely his?

I don't say that to absolve him of anything. He is guilty, very guilty. I wonder how long until he starts talking to save his own butt.

ETA: I meant to say perhaps she was banking on him screwing it up and ending up in jail.

at this point ....... it's looking that way.....''did you say too much" will be her undoing.....

Where are you a paralegal? I can't find a job to save my life. Everyone wants experience. And I had the highest grade in my class :/

OT

PigPong, my sister that lives in Marietta, is a recruiter specializing in legal and medical fields. I'm going to PM you her number.

She's on vacation, but will be back Monday.

Well at the funeral she DID say he is the "Leader of our family".

When I heard that I thought "great statement for a future defense"! But she ain't the brightest crayon in the box either, if she wanted to be rid of him she surely would NOT say "Did you say too much" while in a holding room at the police station!

I wonder how long it will take for the national media to stop calling it "hot car death" in the headlines and start using RH? For example, instead of "Dad in hot car case was sexting", it would say "Ross Harris was sexting". is I guess it is too early for people to automatically know that RH = dad in hot car case, so they have to use a description of the crime to make sure articles are clicked on.

I'm in Lawrenceville. I got my cert from UGA-GWINNET (don't know why, but my phone is insisting that it be in caps). I loved my classes and I got the highest grade in each of them. But, it's been hard getting a job.

Anything you know of anywhere in the metro area would be so appreciated!
I know, OT, but for you and the other local legal eagles, seriously go register with a legal placement agency here in metro if you are looking. I can't tell you how many calls I get each month looking for a para or LNC and I'm not even searching for anything. My best jobs with the best pay always came from an agency placement. If you need some leads to a good one, let me know. :)

Hi LittleRose: you hit the nail on the head: in the end she wanted him more than she wanted the baby. Tragic for the poor baby who became disposable to preserve the relationship

Am I reading it right... It looks like the judge's name was Harris... Is this one of those areas where everyone is related to everyone else, everyone is a second cousin?

Sorry, I saw the judges name too and should have mentioned it. Leanna and Ross are from different parts of bama AND that appeals judge could be from anywhere.

Can anybody tell if either one of them wore their wedding rings in family photos? I don't think he was wearing his in the few photos I saw of them together with his hand on her shoulder, but I can't really tell.

It looks like she's at least wearing a ring in court:

Maybe it doesn't matter, but it might also show whether she had given up on the relationship in her own mind, and whether she's doing some acting in court...

to obtain child support in GA is it standard procedure to have a declaration of paternity???
If they were to have divorced would have JRH had the opportunity to contest paternity and order proof of paternity for CH?

Yeah, I found myself logged out for no good reason, logged back in and "thanks" button is gone.
