I don't know what her deal is here. To me it seems that she behaves very strangely. Did she know/suspect what JH was going to do?

At the very least, she suspected he was going to do this beforehand and covered for him afterwards. I would not be surprised to learn that she knew and had helped Ross plan it. Neither was emotionally capable of bonding with Cooper, who, in their sick minds, was easily replaceable and disposable at will, apparently... All is well since he's "sitting on the lap of Jesus", right? Ross must have convinced her that Cooper wouldn't suffer, just go to sleep, guaranteed to wake up in heaven since he was too young to sin. They could settle their debts, maybe buy a house, focus on their "intimacy problems", and possibly have more children in the future...

He was quite taken with living in East Cobb,
Lassiter and Walton High Schools specifically.
LE might want to look into underage girls at those locations. I still can't figure out Rope Mill park.
He was taken with it because he's a poser. My husband is a true EC snob (graduated Lassiter) and 2 of my kids graduated from Walton (also making them snobs I guess, lol). All three of them would say Ross Harris was an East Cobb wannabe.

MOO there was no Cooper sitting on Jesus knee dream. That was a sick construction RH made up in order to tell his parents (or at least father) so it could be told at the funeral. To remind everyone at the funeral, including all those supportive church friends, that Cooper is in a better place. It was a deflection. A chance to make himself and LH look more sypathetic. RH knew or should have known what would be coming out at his hearing or later at trial. He needed to more firmly entrench his supporters as much as possible prior to that happening.

It was nothing but make believe in order to attempt to make himself look like exactly what he was not. A good man who shared the same values as that church full of people.

I don't think RH expected the shoe to drop and the sexting to come out at the hearing but I think he knew it was coming down the pike and he was trying to play to that group of supporters before it had a chance to be revealed in order to remind them, he was one of them, not some sicko who was so busy sending pics of his penis with his kid in the room that he could really be depraved enough to do this.

Well he is depraved enough and he has done it. He killed his child.

I feel bad for all those people who think they known him and think they knew what he was and was not capable of. The hearing must have been quite a revalation for them.

jmo She didn't want to see Cooper because she knew she could not perform the act of grieving mom. They may not have planned this together. She might have put this bug in his ear about children and hot cars, after finding proof that he was cheating again, and he ran with it. jmo

OT

PigPong, my sister that lives in Marietta, is a recruiter specializing in legal and medical fields. I'm going to PM you her number.

She's on vacation, but will be back Monday.

Thank you so much! It's much appreciated!

Her tough veneer would have cracked ...... for reasons you state or guilt.

I know, OT, but for you and the other local legal eagles, seriously go register with a legal placement agency here in metro if you are looking. I can't tell you how many calls I get each month looking for a para or LNC and I'm not even searching for anything. My best jobs with the best pay always came from an agency placement. If you need some leads to a good one, let me know. :)

Yes ma'am, please! :)

The last time I checked, GA is one of the few states where the husband of the mother is PRESUMED to be the bio father with no declaration of paternity. That was a while ago, though, and it may have changed. I'll see if I can find it.

It's a cute, dramatic story from him. It also happens to leave out all the other jobs he bounced around to. IMO, he's full of crapola. Sure, he went to school and got that job, but it's not all rainbows and unicorns clearly. What HE says about his life to other and his actual never matched up, IMO. Except that one again it's allll about him

And he keeps saying he 'quit the police dept' and his job in law enforcement' as if he was a cop.

In reading the comments here, I am starting to think that LH responded the way she did because they regularly left Cooper in the car. It was something they didn't talk about with others, but between the two of them they had done it many times before. I can't imagine *not* wanting to go directly to my child and instead choosing my husband. I like my husband quite a bit, but there is a different bond between most mothers and children. That mommy bear instinct takes over. Maybe she was so caught up (complicit) in this "he is our leader" lifestyle that her first thought was always for him and Cooper was secondary to "them". I don't know. I think her reactions are strange for many reasons.

I'm still waiting to hear more on LH, her behaviour was strange from the start.
Did LH go the scene of RH and little cooper?
Was she still at the daycare when LE told her what had happened or was she at RH work place?
The comment to RH asking him if he has said too much, is very strange. He has just been arrested for the death of her only child, in a horrific way too, and she shows no anger towards him, she appears calm and even LE comment that they didn't see her cry!
Then she doesn't ask to say her baby boy? I can not even begin to understand this one. I don't think anyone could stop me from been with my child. I would have been there until someone had to drag me away.

thanks:

If JRH decided to be difficult.....could he request a dna test on his son to wiggle out of paying child support??

I'm usually not a fan of wild speculation, but I'll make an exception right here lol...Did he take Cooper with him on some of his hookups and leave the baby in the car. He may have been using the baby as an excuse/cover to get out of the house. If he was busted doing that, that could explain all the searches and her reaction.

I still feel like her demeanor is far too submissive for Cooper to not be hers and RH's. I can see her ignoring his indiscretions, feeling that he was the head of the household and it was her job to submit and ignore/forgive so she could remain subservient and a "good wife". That's the one path of questioning I think will end nowhere. Cooper was their child, but she was "the wife" first and "the mother" second, and had likely spent a lot of time bending to his judgement. Again, I think they left the kid in the car quite a bit, and she knew it or did it too, and that's why she responded the way she did to hearing that Cooper wasn't in daycare.

I've had the same thought.

TOTAL SPECULATION about the hot car death searches

I tend to think LH knew or suspected about the messaging with other women. Allegedly she was aware of a previous affair. I think LH may have had a habit of always making sure she knew where he was and who he was with. One way of doing that was to have him take Cooper with him on "errands". I think in her mind that would prevent him from saying "Honey, I have to run . . ." and actually going to hook up with someone. So she would suggest he take Cooper. And he would. But then she worried her 🤬🤬🤬 husband might be self centered enough to try to use the vehicle as a babysitter while he hooked up with someone.

(Remembering Heather Jensen, whose two sons were left in the vehicle to die while she climbed into the vehicle of her affair and got busy for hour and a half)

I think LH called RH attention to the idea of heat death in cars in effort to remind him why he should never do that. The unspoken part was "while you are off trying to hook up with strange".

Unfortunately I think RH wheels started spinning on how that whole hot car death thing could be his ticket. Ticket to a child free life. I can Imagine him thinking how sympathetic the ladies would be toward a grieving father who tragically lost the light of his life, his son. GAG.

My grandfather used to do that when we'd visit them in FL. We'd go out to walk their farm and end up at his mistresses house. Plop me down in front of the TV with her granddaughter and disappear.
