This morning between 5 and 6 a.m., Fox News reported that search dogs had "hit" on a pond about 10 miles from Tara's home and that searchers would be draining the pond.

Wow! Thanks for the info. Please keep us posted.

The pond where 3 cadaver dogs got a hit is on Sunflower Rd. in Ben Hill County. The owners have given permission to drain it if the divers cannot locate anything today.

I understand that Greta will be interviewing Tara's sister and BIL tonight.

:o I dont know whether to pray they find her in the pond or they dont.

It's amazing that this detective guy can come in and at least get this ball rolling and their LE couldn't seem to. Not to knock them or anything, but wow.

Maybe we need him on a few other cases.

I'm praying for Tara's family through this tough time.

Greta's interview has been eliminated due to new info. What that is right now I have no idea. This is so stressful. I feel like I am living and breathing this case.

Me too. I don't get a lot of sleep and I search constantly and I really need to be focused on other things but I am focused on Tara. I truly believe this is a solvable case. I know that she is out there and they are close. I just know it.

There are new developments in the search for missing Ocilla teacher Tara Faye Grinstead. The search continued over the weekend and dogs made a breaking discovery Sunday just ten miles from Tara’s house. A team of divers was at that sight Monday to search for what they believe to be the body of Grinstead. Divers said the search was a difficult one, with water visibility being “basically zero” and the bottom of the pond reaching thirty feet. The dive will continue Tuesday in Fitzgerald, and if needed, authorities say the pond will be drained. There has been little evidence and few clues in Grinstead’s disappearance. Grinstead was last seen on October 22, 2005.

Throughout the search, Gattis said 40 ponds have been searched but this is only the second pond where dogs have found something. She said the other pond was behind a house that burned recently "under very mysterious circumstances".

And I won't. The ponds indicate moving of the body. The dogs searched 40 ponds and only hit on these 2. I know I am a one woman show here but I believe this is solvable. I can only totally commit to one at a time but for that time the case is the only true focus.

I hope that Tare is found soon. I would rather her be found alive but I think the chances of that are pretty slim. Her family need to be able to bury her and to know where she is.

So are they still searcing that pond or did they finish? Did they ever get to finish searching on that land close to Tara's ex-boyfriends place? The place that the sheriff made them stop. I think something is there or he wouldn't have been so jumpy about them searching there.

FITZGERALD - A team of cadaver dogs will conduct another search in south-central Georgia for popular teacher and beauty queen Tara Grinstead, who has been missing for five months.

Angela Batten, a K-9 handler for Dogsouth in Jesup, said she expected to bring about eight cadaver dogs to the area this weekend.

Ben Hill County Sheriff Bobby McLemore said the dogs would check an area about 10 miles west of Fitzgerald.

Ms. Batten said the dogs "alerted" at two ponds that were checked last weekend.

20 phone calls to her
I would like to know more about the 20 phone calls please.
If it was said that Tara recieved phone calls and stated that the calls were girls thanking her,why would she not acknowledge the 20 frantic phone calls from 1 person?
The 20 calls bothers me.Were the calls stationary or were they made from various cell towers.
Can I please have more info on this matter.
