Sorry to hear about Tara's mom, cp. I spent a lot of time thinking about Tara and her family & friends yesterday. How rough this must be on them all, especially during holidays, like Easter; on which loved ones are such an integral part. I said a couple prayers for them, too. It's not much, but it's about the best thing I can think of to do.

Hopefully a resolution to Tara's case will come soon.

People like you are so needed. Mostly it is a hateful town that is related to each other and bash the family daily.I have a hard time keeping my spirits up. The family has to be dying inside. I have never seen anything like this before. Not even on Peterson threads. It is like they are acceptable with the scenario that Tara just took off. Good grief, she is dead and in pieces somewhere not frolicking in the Caribbean. I could just scream but it wouldn't echo what her mom feels.

I guess I missed any type of implication in concernedperson's post. All she posted was that the governor would be in Ocilla tomorrow. Maybe you could explain what you are implying cp implied, because I totally missed it.

First time reading about this case, and please forgive me for this question if it was addressed long ago, I just cant read every single post....but did they ever find the video tape of the pageant she said she was going to go home and watch? If so, was it in the house or still in the car? Or not found at all?

Actually I don't think anyone knows what happened with the tape. I guess police didn't think it was relevant to the case. I personally thought that Tara came home, changed clothes, put the pageant video into the VCR, and went to bed. But that's just my opinion.

As far as I know the latex glove was the 'biggest' lead however they have never had any hits on the DNA profile.

It's very frustrating.

This is correct ! Not sure how often they run the DNA through CODIS, but they should at least 3 or 4 times a year.

I used to follow Tara's case. I always had the impression that she was a very interesting young woman. I can't believe that there aren't any updates or that they haven't located her yet. I hope that her family and friends get closure someday.
