Didn't her phone ping in Macon that evening? Or at least articles claimed initially they thought she could be in the Macon area. Macon was far enough away that it wouldn't make sense to drive two vehicles.

Yes, I recall reading that in a few articles, but did anything ever come of that information? I don’t recall LE or even the media addressing this particular ping any further.

I haven't been able to find any additional information. I suppose it could have been a story concocted by Adams to place her anywhere else, but since LE seemed to be looking for a body outside of Macon nearly right away, I'm thinking they must have had other credible information putting her there at some point that night.

If you are talking about the one individual arrested on the same day and with the same last name, I haven't been able to connect them.

I saw that early on as well, and found that that person is connect to an Aaron, but I believe it's not our Aaron. Likely completely unrelated and coincidental.
