GA - Twin brothers miss flight to Boston, found dead 24 hours later in Georgia mountains, 14 Mar 2025

I disagree. The recent reference to the luggage being at the door was the location of the bags when their mom said goodnight to the twins on Saturday. This is the same custodial parent who would be the party receiving info directly from LE, and who provided to the extended family talking to media that the luggage was found inside their vehicle but she would not comment on the contents of their bags when recovered.

She said goodnight to them on Friday, not Saturday.

You're entitled to disagree, IMO the luggage was still in the home and not in the car at Bell Mountain.

But all of it doesn’t answer other questions. Parents divorced 13 years ago. Where did the twins live, with whom, why was the
Backing up to provide source information on luggage.

FCN: He missed the flight on Friday?

Tiger Harris:
On Friday morning, yeah. So, he had to rebook for Saturday.

His bags and everything were at the door to put back in the car to go to the airport on Saturday.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kaarini Lewis: We last saw them on Friday night because they were at home, and we said goodnight that night.

FCN: And after that, they left that early morning and you didn’t see them again?

Kaarini Lewis:
Correct. We didn’t see them again after we said our goodnight.

FCN: Are you aware of the time they would have left the house that morning?

Kaarini Lewis:
No.

Well, it seems from the interview that Tiger doesn’t know that much about the boys. He assumes they lived with the mom prior to moving to their dad’s house, but he says he is not sure. My question is, what district did the biomom live in? Did they still visit her? Maybe the gun was in the other house? If the twins moved in permanently in 2023, how do we know where they used to go or travel with the previous family? Basically, if you don’t live in the house, see the kids on some weekends and can’t even tell where they used to live before, how can you be so adamant that they didn’t know about the mountain? All you can say, and I believe Tiger and the family, is that they were loved and would have gotten help from their relatives had they asked for it. The relatives are caring and shocked, it seems.

But, many things might have happened in the twins’ childhood and youth that the bonus mom’s family may never know about. I hope we’ll get the answers, but it may take time.

and as confusing as it is, the important people that need to be "in the know", I am sure are fully aware of the location of luggage, who had airline tickets and probably even know when they entered that mountain area. Maybe there is a reason they're keeping it under wraps for now. even if its just to avoid the social media circus that can happen.
Fair enough when you think of how some cases have been covered lately.

Tiger Harris: They were staying weekends and stuff in other periods of time with their dad and bonus mom. But I know in high school, they weren’t doing well at the school they were at. So, Kaarini actually got a house in a good school district (around 2020-2021). They moved permanently in January 2022.

Yes, there’s been several rumors with this one. I think folks are just trying to see if there’s somewhat of a timeline & what’s known, if it’s out there somewhere.

I’m not suggesting they weren’t college students, but usually articles mention where victims were attending college. Along with the general lack of information about them, I find this unusual.
Here’s the information!

The Final Call contacted the GBI for records on the twins’ deaths and received notice that the records are “not available because the reports and/or scientific testing is incomplete.”

The investigation into the deaths is active and ongoing. A GBI medical examiner completed the autopsies, but the official ruling is pending due to additional forensic tests, according to the news release. The bureau’s forensic division expects the reports to be available by or before late July, according to a message by the GBI’s Open Records Unit/Legal Division to The Final Call.

Thanks for the link @Miss Poovy had not seen this information previously. Wow it's gonna be a while, the poor family!

Agreed, all the info we want to know for a timeline, is the unclear stuff. And Not only for a timeline but to know other things, if only one was flying , yet they entered that mountain area before the gates locked, it might not have been one just driving the other to the airport.
Not to mention the airport is in the opposite direction of the mountain from their place. ( if it was the Atlanta airport )

“They’re very protective of each other. They love each other,” their uncle, Rahim Brawner, said to the TV station. “They’re like inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other because I’ve never seen them get into a fistfight before.”

The family also shared with 11Alive that the twins’ phones, wallet and plane tickets were found inside their car.

There are many community colleges that are a bridge to bigger programs. Unless they did online education - then their “bonus mom’s” relative may not remember the name of the colleges, and it is possible.

The general lack of information is so glaring now…

Im not convinced on the M/S either. I just cant imagine twins ( or anyone really ) driving out there to do something like that, too much time to think about it on the drive up.
They're good-looking boys, too. Sure hope this isn't some crazy setup over a girl.

Naazir was attending Gwinnett Technical College’s Automotive Technology Program, and Qaadir was attending the Aviation Institution of Maintenance in Gwinnett County, according to the twins’ obituary. They both had one year of college left and had dreams of owning their own business.

Beinging this post forward. Luggage not with them. Which matches a comment by family in the most recent article, stating the luggage was sitting by the door in their home, after he missed the Friday flight.
But this also says both flying. Previous reports also said "bags in the car" which could be luggage, backpacks, for goodness sake Walmart bags, even.

I find no definitive answers.
Was one brother flying, both, and which one if one?
Were there bags packed for a plane trip in the car?
When was the actual time last seen, 3 am Sat morning or 11pm Friday night? Or something else?
Where did the gun come from?
How much gas in the car?
Why print out tickets/boarding passes? Were they unable to access them on a phone when they/one missed the flight?
Why no mention of bio mom? Was that who they/one was going to see?

I could go on. I have my own reasons for not thinking m/s and LE would have give something pretty impressive to change my mind.

There is a small parking area before the gate 8-10 vehicle space. Then the gate, then up the hill to the main lot that has maybe 22 slots. Which parking lot was the car found in?

That has got to be one of the creepiest places, with all the graffiti everywhere. I've not been to any recreation area that didn't clean that up, but maybe a regional thing? Graffiti, to me, means not maintained well, but that could just be where I travel.

The lack of any substantiated information disturbs me a great deal.

Does anyone know if they were reported missing before they were found?
I would imagine if the family saw the luggage still at the door in the morning and the boys were not home they would have been concerned. Especially after a missed flight the day before.

Not sure about their house but in my house no one would have even been awake at 7-8am. I wonder when the family was notified, though.

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, at about 11:05 a.m., the Towns County 911 Center received notification that two people were found dead at the top of Bell Mountain. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was requested by the Towns County Sheriff’s Office shortly after the discovery.

Not sure when the family was notified, but I would guess within hours of the discovery.
