GA - Twin brothers miss flight to Boston, found dead 24 hours later in Georgia mountains, 14 Mar 2025

Video to see the drive to the top of Bell Mountain. Not only is it steep & winding, most of it is wide enough for one car only so when meeting someone coming up/down, one driver has to scoot as much to the side as possible & wait.

Gates seen at minute 6:27 (note this is one car width, there is a slight pull-off area to the left of this screen shot but only a couple of cars could park there to wait for the gate to open, imo) --

First parking area at minute 8:53 --

Road leading to the second parking area is at minute 9:35. It does look like there is a second set of gates there (between parking lot one & parking lot two).

Entering parking lot two at minute 10:22 --

You can see the observation area here. I believe that it was said someone who was hiking/from the observation area found Q & N.
its creepier than i thought there.

Those two young men, both inexperienced drivers, did not decide, after picking up snacks at 10:30pm from a gas station, to take a trip on dark windy mountain roads, up to an unfamiliar mountain with even darker windier roads, two hours away from their home.

19 year old boys are probably the most likely demographic to do random risky behaviors/out of character behaviors that most people would not attempt due to fear or uncertainty.

It could be as simple as one of them saw a video of this place on TikTok and wanted to go. No further thought beyond that. Why would they think that it was impossible for them? Of course they should be able to drive up a road in the dark. There’s a reason young men are the most expensive group to insure.

-We know they couldnt get a vehicle in there after hours if the gate was locked, nor should they be able to get out.
-seen at a gas station near their home at 1030 pm.
-Either the gate wasn't locked or they had to arrive at the mountain in the morning.
They had a flight to catch in the early morning, before the park even opened. not the best time for risk taking.
I'm wondering if the gate was even locked.
Why would the boys go to the summit to complete a M/S in the early morning during opening hours?
How busy is that place? Most hikers would go when it's cooler out ( early).
I dont know about any liability issues if the gate wasnt locked, could that be why its so quiet OR is it common to keep suicides more quiet? ( not that I believe that is what happened) or at least quiet until they know for sure?

they were murdered , and it is interesting to me that many serial killers seem to gravitate towards parks, forests and secluded areas like this..Think Delphi, think Keyes, think Green River Gary..Bundy, Rex, Chase Merritt.. whether to kill or dispose...remote areas are often part of the scenario.

now what about murder made to look like suicide? there are some new and old cases with this kind of staging at play, so we can say it's rare, but not unheard of...as a matter of fact it can be such a simple way of diverting the narrative.

so what if they have gun residue, blood spatter , measurements, spent shells and everything they need to wrap this up? then why so shady about all the details? where is the itinerary of the investigation?

could someone with intimate knowledge of what would be needed for a believable staging be able to set something like this up? Does the evidence really say the deaths happened there ? if so what is the evidence?. mOO

Especially if you know the park is closed and if you went off-road (accident), no one will likely be around to help.
From the very little I know of them, they don't sound like daredevils, they seem family oriented, helping with the littles, taking them to school etc.
So we know the GBI found the gas station video and shared it with the Mother of Naazir and Quaadir. I assume that was recent. Did they share any other information?

Surely by now they have their cell phone records? Would the GBI share anything they found? If not, does that mean there was nothing helpful? No other video?

JSM will be a guest on websleuths on Wednesday I submitted a question about the stats on location of the gun in a murder suicide, as I have read that more often than not, its not found in their hand,
The pictures of the scene ( which I have not seen) some people say they can see the gun. I don't want to quote where they said they saw it b/c I cant remember, I didn't realize it was important to know until recently.
Even still, doesnt conclusively tell us anything for sure, but it might help.

As well JSM was the lead death investigator in Atlanta and surrounding county, before he retired, He may offer a lot of insoght

I wonder if they even looked for evidence of a sexual assault. I find it weird that their personal items were found in the car, wallets and phones. People generally do not leave those items in the car.
if you get lost, you need your phone. It makes me think those items were taken from the boys and possibly tampered with , before they were staged inside the vehicle. Did they look for touch DNA? fingerprints?

what does the serial number tell us about the history of that gun? who's gun is it?

so we have this very unlikely location of death
we have a gun or we don't have a gun
we have this odd removal of wallets and phones/yet plane tickets in pockets
no mention of missing cash or credit cards
no known SA on their bodies.

the odd removal of phones and wallets makes me super suspicious..it's very thoughtful and not something I think both boys would do simultaneously. It almost seems like a convenience and it's almost polite.. like taking off your shoes before going in someone's house..it also put's emphasis on them having been in that car and makes it look like for sure they were the ones who drove that car up there..because look, here's their stuff.

mOO

There's a lot of weird murders in North Georgia

--- so I just heard about this. I just tried to read quickly through some of it. So I guess they got there in their own car. And I guess it was a gunshot. Well I'm thinking they must have been taken at either the gas station or at their own house. It would have to be at one of their stops. What time were they found by the hikers? Could they have been taken from their house at night or in the morning when they wanted to leave for the airport? Is there car parked in a house garage or parked out on the street?

either someone took them up and got a ride back or two cars went up and only one car came down. mOO
That's true, they would have to have a car to go back. So that leans towards suicide. I just found out about this case, and I'm assuming their car was found up there. I think I read all their information was in the car, like their wallets and whatever. Well on the other hand, if it was a serial killer who pre-planned, he could have pre-planted a car up there. They should probably be able to figure out what cars were up and the mountain around that time, with traffic cameras and such, it's a pretty isolated area apparently.

I read they were discovered on the mountain around 11:00 a.m.. And it takes a couple hours to get to that mountain from Lawrenceville. And apparently they were taking a flight to Boston early in the morning. So maybe when they got up in the morning, if this was something nefarious, when they went to their car, that's when they got approached. Or conversely, instead of taking their flight, they decided to drive up to that mountain and commit suicide. What time was their flight? and then they would have to leave a couple hours before that to get to the airport. So they would still leave in the dark I guess.

I was just thinking it could have been two guys who did this. One guy in their own car and another guy in the car with the twins, with a gun.

Okay I got a little more clarity on the dates. Their flight was supposed to be March 7th early in the morning, they missed it. Then they were at the gas station that night on March 7th. Found around 11:00 a.m. on March 8th.

Everytime I read family details I get more confused. I think the confusion is the extended family seem to be doing most of the interviews and they are repeating 2nd hand information that they heard. I wish LE would provide a more substantial update.
If the police have a suspect they will not release anything that could tip the suspect off.

The uber driver says he did not get them to the airport on time . Both of them uber.
supporting this is the ticket lady saying she helped them rebook the ticket. So did the uber wait around while they booked the ticket in person at the airport or is there another uber driver?
Since the twins are seen on video about 10:30 PM that night in Lawrenceville, the airport and Uber are not relevant. IMO

So I just looked at the Google map location. It is really isolated around there. Only one road going to the place. I just read that their car, of the twins, was found with them at mountain top.

So the issue is, if there was a murder there, how did the murderer get out of there, without a car? It's so far from anything up there and it would be a pretty big hike through the woods.

But I just had a thought. The murderer could have pre-planted an old bicycle there. Maybe just left it in the woods next to the parking area. Because it's all downhill from the mountaintop. And he could just comfortably coast on down the hill there, to get to his next location.
