I read somewhere unidentified bodies rarely get autopsies, only in exceptional circumstances, so he probably didn't have an autopsy.

That's unfortunate. Unexplained deaths, regardless whether the deceased is known or not, should be SOP.

I have a Lebanese friend who has green eyes, but never seen a middle eastern person with blue eyes. It is a bit strange.

Really late to this because I found his case on Reddit today. And maybe this information could help. But honestly, middle easterns with blue eyes is not strange. My whole dad's family are Iranian with varying shades of blue eyes. My father had very dark dark brown hair with stormy blue eyes. Including all of his siblings minus his youngest sister who has brown eyes. It's not unusual if you're in that world to see different light color eyes. But can be strange if you're not around a lot of middle eastern people or from that part of the world.
