Agree. So, why do you suppose 1 vehicle parked in the garage? Were they planning on taking something out of that vehicle or putting something into that vehicle?
Maybe they took the family in on the White SUV that went in garage. Maybe to let them look again to see if anything seemed out of the ordinary, missing or jogged their memory of something they did not notice before and to possibly ask them things to help in the investigation?

Welp that tells you right there that an arrest is not coming anytime soon. Otherwise there would be no need for this release.

Once an arrest is made the media will move on and or atleast focuses their attention elsewhere. And Pima county would know that
You think? I’m thinking, from experience, an arrest will be announced soon and we all know how more media than what’s already there will be everywhere including gawkers. Soo I’m thinking there is a news conference coming soon! We can hope!

This was interesting to read, about behavioral analysis in criminal investigations.

I’m not sure where the masked man on the porch fits, but there’s listings of signs of an organized vs a disorganized criminal.

Other interesting outlined is regarding crime scene staging or masking, and the significance of moving a body.

The vast majority of criminals show both organised and disorganised traits to varying degrees.

It's less useful as a predictor of who a perpetrator is than you might think.

People just don't fit neatly into boxes. They're not designed to fit the binary. Behaviour is so much more complicated and unless we ask someone, we don't know why they did a certain behaviour.

For example, the lantana. The most inexplicable behaviour we have on here. Is it evidence of panic? Clever improvisation? Laughably ineffective coverup? Mental illness? Something else altogether that only has meaning to the perpetrator? It's an ink blot of a thing. People can read it as organised or disorganised depending on what they are expecting or hoping to see, to fit their idea of the crime. Which is all about the person theorising, and probably has little to nothing to do with what the actual person was thinking or trying to achieve at the time.

In this clip the loop that keeps playing shows the “investigators” arriving at NG’s house today - the guy leading the group looks like the representative from United Cajun Navy that we saw interviewed yesterday.

once an arrest is made the media will flee from NG property to the police station where perp is arrested, then follow the case through courts, NG property will hold no interest as there wont be anything happening there

I honestly think they are just taking in the scene maybe even turning some information over to the federal side of things. I think pcso will step back and a small group of fbi will keep working behind the scenes. I don’t see this as a ramp up but rather a different approach. We saw something similar in the Delphi case where the local sheriffs office and state police asked for outside agencies to reevaluate the evidence.

That turned out to be a very long and winding road, i wouldn’t be surprised if we are headed in that same direction moo

Maybe remain anonymous publicly. Meaning, the name of this person giving the tip is not released publicly, but LE will certainly know this person and their name.
Crime Stoppers, arrange for cash to be left in envelopes at pre-determined locations or picked up at a bank using a secret code rather than identification.

AI, but I have read it before without AI.

Savannah Guthrie wanted to offer a huge $1 million reward on the first day of the search for her missing mom Nancy, but was stopped by the sheriff leading her case, sources said.

How unfortunate if accurate ?
Jmo.
LE can't really "prevent" her from offering a reward. They can advise against it, and the siblings may have discussed it and agreed to go with their advise. Unfortunately, this case seems to break a lot of "rules".

ETD a double post that keeps returning every time I page foward.

Watch Jennifer Coffindaffer's Youtube from last night where she interviews a former FBI CSI person "Mac McCollugh." She says in a high profile case they would often stash evidence in the tub (in bags of course) and take it out discreetly because they don't want the media and family to see what they are removing. She also said that how they poked around in the septic tank was terrible, terrible because family was watching and what if she had actually been in there and the septic tank guy turned to the other guys with a thumbs up and family saw that... she had a lot of interesting things to say about crime scene management.

I saw this article shared on twitter. Happened in September 2025 in Catalina foothills. A nice home with cameras was burglarized by a group with one pretending be delivery.

Tucson has a problem!

Whoever was there today covered their mouths, used the garage, etc, so obviously they didn’t want everyone to know what they were doing.

Why not wait until tomorrow? With the no parking zones, there would be less media (or at least maybe not as many people all day).

Similar to all the searches and canvassing at AG’s and NG’s, and everything that’s been “leaked” (DNA results, etc) today is something else that seems performative (not WHAT they were doing, but WHEN - making sure the media/public knew)

I wonder if they’ve been pretty sure the perp is following all the media coverage very closely.

Ransom note guy sent TMZ the note bc he knew they would publicize it, IMO. Maybe he didn’t contact the family directly bc he wanted the response to be public.

If so, maybe ransom guy is legit. Craving the media attention and public response to his notes AND wanting the public attention of the case. Maybe this is how they’re keeping him “engaged”.

Maybe there was never proof of life bc he never cared about the ransom. Just the attention.

bbm Please explain to me how someone can call anonymously with a tip or even the stalker's name and STILL receive a reward? I just don't understand that. How do you find the tipster to reward them if they call in anonymously? moo
One way would be to use an attorney as an intermediary. Law enforcement could not make any effort to find out who that attorney's clients are. Attorney-client privilege is sacred, even more so than doctor-patient.

The article does say:

“Most offenders exhibit traits that fall into both categories (known as a “mixed” offender), but the majority of their characteristics usually fall on one side of the spectrum.”

Yes, people don’t fit into neat boxes. But I guess when there’s not enough direct evidence, behavioral analysis may help give possible directions of investigation.

I’m not sure if this has anything to do at all with NG, but SG’s co-host Carson Daly posted this on his Instagram earlier.

Seems like a good sign to me. As far as I know, prosecutors typically don't get 'dirty in the street' until there is case building going on.

Also, federal prosecutors? If so then we pretty much know who is now heading the investigation. And if the Feds are prosecuting it, we know that there are only a couple of qualifiers in this type of crime that would make it a federal case.

JMO.

I also feel hopeful they are building a case against someone or more than one person. Would a qualifier be taking her across the border?

What two qualifiers are you referring to? Thanks.

It might do, but it might not.

It's one of those things that behavioural science used to be a lot more black and white on forty years ago, and they've had to step back from because most criminal behaviour is far more ambiguous and doesn't fit their boxes neatly.

I was watching a live stream in front of NG house when some activity started picking up on you tube earlier today and snatched a screen shot. I was kinda amazed at how well the white truck is obscured even In daylight from this direct angle. Anyone would miss this in pitch dark unless you were looking for something out of place. A vehicle with no lights would very easily be missed at night. Especially if only there for a a short while.

I need to catch up, but these people dressed in suites don’t look like detectives. I’m not trying to stereotype or be disrespectful, but thoughts?
