2. Maybe they planned on taking NG to her bank atm to withdraw money, but she died in the vehicle. IMO, I think LE would have found her body by now.

I think this is a rationale consideration. Also perhaps someone was staying in her guest house (perhaps uninvited that she was not aware of - perhaps a worker or someone familiar with the property) and something occurred ...

Yes, or across state lines. Or involving interstate commerce. A ransom demand for Bitcoin would qualify as well, via commerce, IP use, and email if I recall correctly.

Good OL Tucson has a problem, the USA has a PROBLEM, Criminals appear to be getting away with murder. Tucson used to be a fantastic place to live but after THIS, not so sure! If someone like Nancy Guthrie can’t be found , with all of her family’s resources, we are ALL SCREWED! Just sayin’

The reason I had pause about the ransom note being legit at first is because they asked for so much money.
I figured the delay could be explained away by giving them adequate time to get a good distance away.

I mean why 4 million? Then 6 million?
That is a ridiculous amount.

Which is why I thought the motive could be money for weapons of war by a terrorist organization.
Which is outrageous but so was the amount of ransom demanded.

And it's not like they are going to flat out state, "Hey give us 4 million for w.o.w and we will give Nancy back."

I would think that if it was deemed that a crime occurred in a specific area, it could be considered federal, i.e. a national park like in the Gabby Petito case.

I guess it's possible they got a confession and wanted to try to validate some things. I could see an announcement forthcoming about that, whereas I'm not sure why LE would tell the public they got a promising tip.

I was watching a live stream in front of NG house when some activity started picking up on you tube earlier today and snatched a screen shot. I was kinda amazed at how well the white truck is obscured even In daylight from this direct angle. Anyone would miss this in pitch dark unless you were looking for something out of place. A vehicle with no lights would very easily be missed at night. Especially if only there for a a short while.

AG and TC also went to the house when NG didn't show up at her friend's house. So they saw the scene very clearly. The Sheriff probably has said more to the family than to us. Just a wild guess. Also, JMO

Agreed - they definitely use unmarked minivans - but I saw the majority of funeral homes also use them now. I think the traditional "hearses" are only used now for ceremonies (e.g. funerals) based on my observations here in Tucson.

I think they have evidence that she went to bed but I don't know if her blood was found in her bed. PCSD believes she went to bed. Nanos wonders if she got up to go to the restroom or got up to go to the refrigerator.
That makes me think her blood was found somewhere besides in her bed.
AB's source said the blood from inside matched the pattern of blood outside. Passive drops falling from a height.
