Metter Youth Pastor arrested for inappropriate contact with a minor

A youth pastor in Metter has been charged with obscene internet contact with a minor, according to the Candler County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say Benjamin Dalton Houser of Glennville was taken into custody on April 26th, and that he was affiliated with Cedar Street Baptist Church in Metter as a youth pastor.

Sad situation -- someone who was in a trusted situation took advantage of his position with a minor or minors. Hoping the minor or minors is/are getting counseling, so that the minor/s will not have feelings of guilt or shame.
