From Blomquist’s post in the Incinerator thread:

A few years ago during a court recess, I confronted a defence attorney about some blatant untruth he stated at trial. His face went red as he blustered “I can say anything I want in defence of my client”.
Mr. Pinnochio Pants-on-Fire ^^ lost the case for his pedophile, stalker client who was found guilty and sent to jail.
BBM Love your terminology for the defense lawyer. :floorlaugh: The have a role to play IMO. They are all good at claim their client's innocent, because if they weren't they wouldn't get the job. It's all about the $$. Fake it until you make it.

Yes, didn't someone already say loose lips sink ships :floorlaugh: DP's said some pretty revealing information in his media chats. He had basically come right out and said DM was involved, is remorseful, but we have to wait until trial to find out what role DM played in all of this.

What's with the random statement "He's a bit of a philosopher, by way of nature and background on reading" :floorlaugh: I guess it sounds good but will it help his client?! I guess to blurt out anything positive, big words could raise doubt to some.
DP said he had spoken to MB and she said "she's not saying anything other then being extremely shaken up that she would find her son who she has indicated to me just to a a previous good character, a good son, an obedient son and someone who's always excelling at things".
Well now doncha think many mothers would say something like this taking into account her son is being charged with first degree murder?! A previous good character...hmmm. How about always?!
