No worries, Norwegian, you may very well be correct. Only in this case, the victim was a model (not that should make a difference). Very high profile. But I agree --if it were 2 run of the mill folks, we wouldn't be hearing about this at all.

Breaking #OscarPistorius National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirms charges against Hilton Botha were re-instated by February 4.

#OscarPistorius This means attempted murder charges were not re-instated yesterday - but raises question: why did this not emerge in court?

Not quite sure what to say, what a clusterduck. I'm thinking Botha needs removed for the integrity of the case. Talk about reasonable doubt.

One thing I'm glad of is the judge hears the trial. Sheesh!

Speculation is RIFE that he will get off on a technicality or just a slap on the wrist, suspended sentence! The only way I see this happening is if the state totally blows their case..we cannot forget he had admitted to killing someone (disregarding circumstances). I can absolutely assume with certainity that he will be going home today! I will be astounded if he does not get bail!

This is just too infuriating now. No justice will be done for Reeva and a guy who IMO is guilty as sin will be freed. JMO.
