OSCAR Pistorius’s rages forced an Olympics roommate to quit their shared digs at last year’s London Games, a pal of the star revealed yesterday.

Radio host David O’Sullivan said Pistorius had “an unsettling dark side”.

“He said he had been forced to move out as Oscar was constantly screaming in anger at people on the phone.

“The dark side to Oscar was always unsettling. I knew he had a reputation for being arrogant and aloof. I heard he was quick to anger.” The sprinter is said to have a history of violent outbursts.

His father's theory from what I read is that she was shot in the bedroom by accident from being mistaken for an intruder (did she leave the house and come back in as someone overheard through the twitter grapevine?) he then rushed to bathroom after her and as he couldn't get in he shot the lock to get in - hmmmmm how can you shoot the lock and think the person behind the door will survive! I saw the photo of the bathroom and it's not that big with the toilet directly opposite door...

A French newspaper reports that "the Star" reporter was taken by Mark Batchelor, who has already been quoted in several articles on Oscar's personality, to a restaurant where Oscar had put a bullet in the wall just two weeks ago and made nothing of it!

'No substance' to Pistorius murder allegations

Family of South African athlete Oscar Pistorius strongly rejects prosecution claims that Reeva Steenkamp's death was premeditated murder.

Oscar Pistorius nearly shot a friend at an upmarket restaurant recently when the pistol he was looking at accidentally went off, local media reported.
The incident occurred less than a month before the star athlete was charged with murder after his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was shot dead at his upscale home in the early hours of Valentine's Day.

His family has strongly denied that he intentionally killed his girlfriend and the sprinter is due to appear in court on Tuesday at a bail hearing.

Pistorius was looking at a friend's gun at a restaurant in Johannesburg when the firearm discharged accidentally, Kevin Lerena told the Afrikaans-language Beeld newspaper on Monday.

"I had quite a fright, because the bullet hit the ground centimetres from my foot," said Lerena, a professional boxer, who described the incident as "a freak accident."

"For some reason it got caught on his trousers, flipped the safety pin and a shot went off. I wouldn't say he was negligent. Days afterwards he was still apologising.

"The revolver belonged to one of his friends... he wanted to have a look at it."
The restaurant manager heard a loud bang, but Oscar and his friends denied anything had happened, he told the newspaper.

given all the "facts" floating around, it'll be very interesting to actually hear what the facts are at trial, but it's clear that the pistorius family has called in the big guns with a high powered legal team as well as publicist and the rest of it to try to mitigate and minimise the damage to oscar and his career.

To me it looks like the bath is directly in front of the door, the toilet is to the far left if you are standing looking in, so if she were on the loo, the door would have been to her far right. The bathrooms in those houses are generally quite large too, especially if it were an ensuite.

I'm considering, like many others, that Roid Rage, steroid abuse, was a contributor to this excessive murder of Reeva

Since high levels of testosterone were found in his system, the question was raised as to whether this was yet another incident of “roid rage”.

I agree with you and I remember that case as I followed it on the Nancy Grace Show,
Police asked for blood taken from Mr. Pistorius to be tested for steroids, City Press claimed, in anticipation that his defence team might claim he acted in "roid rage" – an aggressive condition associated with taking large doses of performance-enhancing drugs. My question is would this plea get him from going to jail forever?? That should not be an excuse, or reason as to why someone lost their life.

Since Reeva's ex-bf and Pistorius used to spar in the boxing ring, I wonder if that is what initiated his rage, when she received his text?

Police arrived at the mansion — which has five reception rooms, a Roman-themed roof pool and three garages — and followed a trail of Reeva’s blood inside.

Police also have CCTV showing Reeva arriving at the house on the Silver Woods estate at 6pm

Handsome Hougaard, 24, was close to Reeva before she paired up with Pistorius in November.

The City Press reported Sunday that police are investigating different scenarios involving the bat. Among them is the possibility that the flat-fronted bat was used in a violent argument before the shooting.

The paper also reported that Pistorius might have first shot Steenkamp in the bedroom, and that she possibly fled to the bathroom where she was shot three more times through the door.

The more I hear on TV and read on the inter-net I just wish he would tell the truth, and then maybe, just maybe the judge would place him somewhere
where he may get the proper treatment, that he requires, his career would be over, but maybe one day he would see the daylight. I really do not know what kind of defense they can come up with, with just the simple facts that we know, she was in her night gown, the bed had been slept in, her overnight bag was in the room, her I Pad on the bedroom floor, this is what seals it for me, 4 not 1 but 4 gun shoots to her body, sorry I should say to her body, this is going to be a big waste of money!!
