No sorry, I actually did word my post wrong. I just didn't find the brutality shocking or anything, sadly, maybe I'm also a little immune and desensitized.
I also didn't know, asked my work colleagues, it simply township slang for shoot him.

thank you
did you catch the Time mag. cover?
You just know Hollywood movies are coming.

If he was yelling at her to get out she would have left and there would be no shooting.
And even if she was reluctant, there would be no reason to shoot her.

So, I dont think that argument works.

As for the other woman, remember that this was a claim she was making after the shooting, so that might influence the accuracy of her account.

There was no reason to shoot Reeva period.

But I don't think you can reject the whole "Get out of my house!" thing out of hand. There are myriads of scenarios where it works.

For instance - OP is in a rage & has been fighting with Reeva for awhile. He screams for her to "Get out of my house" however the bedroom door is locked and Reeva does not know where there key is. Instead she grabs her cellphone and says "I'm calling the police!" and heads for the bathroom. The police being involved finally tips OP over the edge and he goes for his gun.

There's a million permutations that would work to cover OP actually screaming at Reeva to get out of the house. But what I think is interesting is that there are TWO instances of OP using these words when he is faced with a woman that is causing him problems (as he sees it). He was actually charged with assault against the first woman (yes, I know the charges were dropped but with all the dropping and reinstating that seems to go on in SA I don't know that we can put a whole lot of weight on why the charges were dropped!) and the second woman that OP screamed those words to is dead.

I just don't think it's a co-incidence that the same language was used in two situations where women were being harmed by OP. It's starting to look like a pattern.

Oscar Pistorius' reps name substance found in his bedroom

From the Associated Press

February 27, 2013, 12:50 p.m.
"Oscar Pistorius' representatives named the substance found in his bedroom after the shooting death of his girlfriend as Testis compositum on Wednesday and said it is an herbal remedy used “in aid of muscle recovery.”

A product called Testis compositum is also marketed online in both oral and injectable forms as a testosterone booster and a sexual enhancer. Some online retailers also say it can be used to treat tiredness.

Pistorius' lawyers, through his public relations firm, did not give details as to whether the product they named was the same one marketed in the U.S. as a sexual enhancer with pig testicles, pig heart and pig embryo among its ingredients."

I think there must be several versions with the same name, as the ingredient list I found only had the homeopathic dilutions, not the pig glandular extracts.

Sometimes this the case, and one has such a choice--just the homeopathy or that together with vitamins, glandulars etc.

Bottom line is to examine exactly what OP's supply says it contains--along with lab analysis if they wish to pay for that.

I just do not believe he would take it with the glandulars because then he would risk being banned for excess testosterone.

Do you people believe that Oscar is even more famous now than after the Olympics say?

Oh most definitely. He is now no longer famous for running in the Olympics, he will always be known as the athlete who shot his girlfriend.

Btw, what are thoughts about Reevas family disclosing to the press that they are now in dire financial trouble as Reeva used to support them??
I really hope they don't buckle to pressure and accept any kind of assistance from OP if he offers. I'm not sure how good that would look?

I don't know anything about athletes and when they would be tested, or how often. It's my uninformed guess that they wouldn't be tested if a race weren't coming up. I don't think OP was in the middle of his racing season. I do know that some athletes play tricks to test clean for substances.

In any event, the phrase "testosterone booster" strikes me as something that could induce hyperactivity/rage. I google searched it and didn't find much information to back that up, however.

Not good at all. I had the impression they had money. One consolation about this article is that it didn't come out of their mouths, it came from the JoBurg dad. Maybe it's not as bad as he implies. I hope and pray that this will not effect the kind of legal assistance they can get, going up against a giant.

Well I think you are right in that if he was taking a version that had pig testosterone in it, it could affect his behavior and lead to overaggressiveness. Even more likely to affect him if he actually injected it, instead of ingesting it. I hope the ingresient list of the actual stuff he was taking will be released, as again there appears to be several versions of it.

Yes, I agree. I'm speculating here but seems they may just give ( sell) one interview telling Reevas story as they know it....I think it was abit wrong for Mr Myers to announce this to the media, it really leaves them vulnerable IMO.

A surprise, as video indicated they lived in a large house, etc.

That piece indicated that attys are voluntering assistance to the parents.

Are civil trials common there after murders for "wrongful death" I believe it's called?
OJ lost the civil trial ($33 million IIRC), but hid/sheltered his assets.

Testis Compositum

Here again is a site that sold this. It lists the complete ingredients for this ORAL (not injectable) supplement. It only contains the homeopathic dilutions--no pig glandular extracts. So if that was in Oscar's version it is very different. Only the actual supply in police custody can answer that. Again somehow I think he would not jeopardize his athletic career by taking testosterone glandular extracts.
