General Theories and Motives Rehashed #1

BBM. In the same footage u posted above(full version) NG asked TN about how the door was propped open and she says that Misty was not very good house cleaner and unfortunately there was always a mound of laundry there, and thats what held the inner door open.

That's odd, I can't seem to hear that. Here's the "full version" (and ONLY version that I'm aware of), direct from CNN. I would appreciate it if you could make me aware of the time mark for what you have stated.

But they said they never use the backdoor. How did the mound of laundry get there in between the two doors? Why would they keep one door open if the other one is always locked? If both doors are closed no dirty laundry fits in between them. If there is laundry on the floor in front of the inner door, opening the inner door tends to push the laundry on the floor farther in the room, or towards the side wall, away from the door. Some of the clothing might get stuck under the door but most of it is pushed between the door and the wall when the door is opened and it would be harder for it to keep the door open.

IMO for any significant amount of laundry to get in between the inner door and outer door it would have to be kicked, placed or pushed there when the inner door is open and I don't really see why it would be done.

We have a whole thread dedicated to the back door and cinder block, and I think one just on the MH and the theory on it being staged with photos. It is very informative is you are fairly new to the case.

CP.. Thats not the full version..I do recal TN stating there were always clothes on the floor... Can't find a link or check out the version that is on youtube since I'm experiencing connectivity problems with some sites....AaarrrghJMO

If you want to believe an unbiased next door neighbor that lived next door to RC and MC,she's a poster here on WS. that says he worked a 10hr shift 5pm-3am at PDM. I have a link but not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to a thread from locals of Satsuma.(thats what I have always based my belief by)all of her posts always spoke unbiased about RC and MC, not overly highly, seemed to point out anything she didn't feel was right, and in all always seems very honest descriptions and knew quite a bit of the goings on. She's the one who said Haleigh was always so helpful as a big sis to JR, as in when he'd fall off his bike she'd be right there to make sure her baby bro was ok and help him back on.(so sweet)
But as far as her answer to RCs work hours(which was directly asked of her)her statement of a 10hr shift 5pm-3am(which she's stated since the first weeks of Haleighs disappearance)it would coincide with Shoemaker's stating RC arrived around 4:15, 45 mins early for his 5pm start time.(and the neighbor's statement would've been almost a year before Shoemaker ever made such statement)
Jessigirl, I posted the link last night in another thread. The neighbor is a retired gentleman who posted often in the beginning. I enjoyed his comments, for the most part, and was sorry when he stopped posting. IIRC we are allowed to post links but not quote from downstairs. The PL is members only so only members would be able to open the links. I'm going to check TOS again. Or maybe a mod will jump in here and let us know.

I don't doubt at all that TN would offer up that excuse for what our own eyes tell us.

It's kinda like earlier in the video above, she says Ronald and his girlfriend ALWAYS slept with the bedroom door open. How in the heck does his mother know anything of the sort? My mother has been dealing with my shenanigans for twice as long as Ronald has been alive, and I will assure you she has no idea if I sleep with my bedroom door open or closed.

Irregardless of Teresa's laundry on the floor storyline, it's extremely interesting that two different LE sources talk about the screen door being propped open and the back door being unlocked, but neither one says anything about the back door being held open by dirty laundry:

Det. John Merchant of the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said that a screen door on the side of the couple's Satsuma home had been propped open with a block, but they found no obvious signs of forced entry.

Police found the door to the trailer home unlocked when they arrived, but there was no sign of forced entry, according to Donaway.

If that solid back door was standing WIDE OPEN because of piles of dirty clothes, don't you think someone would have mentioned it at some point PRIOR to Marlina Schiavo pointing out the door closed itself in the video above?

I have a thought in regard to Misty's statement that they never use the back door.

For example, we have a juicer. If you asked me I would say that I never use it. But I have done, just not very regularly. The same for our storage space under the stairs. 'We never use it' but in fact we keep stuff in there, just not stuff we use often.

I can understand how they might casually say they never use the back door. They enter and exit the MH via the front door and use the back door for taking out garbage or vacuuming the car. But it's not a door they consider to be in use.

Even her confusion over the distance between her and the supposedly sleeping Haleigh. In that interview with Greta VS, Misty looked exhausted. I suppose it had been nearly a week since she had a decent night's sleep. In her head, she knew where Haleigh's bed was but verbally she couldn't tell the difference between 3'-4' and 3"-4". I doubt Haleigh was ever in bed, of course, but that's not the point I'm trying to make here.

I detected a lack of focus when she was answering questions which could be attributed to her young age and the lack of concentration that can go along with it, ineducation, and of course mistruths also. I think her contradicting statements are down to a number of factors.

JMO, of course.

I get what you mean about never using the back door being a flexible concept (and in fact, Ronald and Misty clarified right after saying so that they meant that they used it when taking out trash or vacuuming their car etc.) But I guess I shouldn't have brought it up when talking about the laundry getting in between the back door and the screen door because it doesn't really matter, does it. They said that the back door was locked that night, so presumably there was no pile of laundry between the doors then, regardless of how often the door was used otherwise.

I think Ron's mother and grandmother are very careful when they answer questions regarding anything that could get Ron in trouble with that pertains to Children's Services. His mother would know what Ron had been approached with (spanking, sleeping arrangements, etc.). She probably answers with caution and adds to her statements (such as they always keep the bedroom door open) if it will make Ron look like a better parent.

The other night I was watching a crime show and they called this woman the Key to the crime.

Her boyfriend had been murdered and on the show the detectives did not believe she did it but she was the key.

It turned out they were right. It was an ex-husband that did it out of jealousy.

They said she was the Key to unlocking the case.

I am just thinking that might be a theory and the way the police are looking at the case and why they use that term.

Balaney

In the case of the bedroom door that is not protecting Ron or making him look better, that is giving credence to Misty's wild tale. Neither is saying clothes were propping open the backdoor.

The solid backdoor is the important one, the screen means nothing but Misty and Ron wanted to concentrate on that brick only holding open the fluff door.

I also found these:

The main door was slightly ajar, but authorities found no obvious signs of forced entry.

http://articles.orlandosentinel.com/2009-02-13/news/missing13_1_haleigh-croslin-ronald-cummings

I believe an accurate assessment of what is shown in the CNN video is a door that closes itself to a point of being “slightly ajar”, which is EXACTLY what LE told us. There were no piles of dirty laundry holding open the solid rear door, no matter what Teresa Neves says in an effort to deflect the truth.

Back to my original question, why did Ronald and Misty both repeatedly state the back door was standing WIDE OPEN, and if it wasn’t, how was Misty supposed to have seen the cinderblock holding open the screen door?

I'm wondering why they even talked to TN about that. Supposedly she wasn't there at the time. Why didn't they do that interview with RC or MC. Why was TN so on the frontline in the beginning? She didn't want to watch her grandchildren that night knowing that RC had kicked Misty out that weekend. Yet following Haleigh's disappearance she was answering RC and MC 's questions for them. Does anyone know the reason that he had kicked her out prior to the WBG party time? When MC told TN she would have to ask RC if it was okay for her to watch his children makes you wonder the reason behind that statement. Was there a problem between her and the children? Or was it because she had been kicked out and wasn't living there and didn't know if she would be in the future? What caused him to kick her out to start with? Anybody know?

I remember in an early interview, (don't remember which one), where Misty said that as soon as Ron got home, she asked him if he had Haleigh with him. Now, she could've made that up, (she's been known to do that), but at the time, I believed her. There were also reports that she had tried to call Ron. But soon after, the story changed. I tend to believe Misty's earlier accounts. I think maybe her question got changed, because it made people wonder if Ron habitually got Haleigh in the middle of the night, (not likely), or that Misty had a slight recollection of him being home, while sleeping. But like I said, she may have made that up & Ron insisted she change it.

Then one has to ask why would Ronald lie about what went down when he arrived. He has said he saw Misty was calling him but didn't answer the phone because he was just pulling onto the street and into the yard. OR, he also has said that he pulled into the yard and saw his girlfriend standing in the door and thought that was odd because she's always sleeping when he gets home from work at that time. And then you have Misty's veritable buffet of answers and .......... well..........

IIRC, it had something to do with Misty claiming she was pregnant by him.

My theory has always been Misty is the "key", and that key opens the lock. Now are they looking for the "lock"? Or do they also need to find the "safe"? Misty isn't the main person (suspect), but she has the information. They just can't crack her. After re-watching the interview from the Today Show the morning after the wedding, I'm more certain than ever. (Kimster has a thread for it).

Also, this video from CNN, isn't the full video. They came back after commercial to demonstrate the clothing on the floor, plus Teresa showed the clothes in Haleigh's closet, including some that had tags on them. I had the whole tour on file but after my computer crashed, I could no longer play the videos.

In my one theory, I have misty hurting Haleigh all on her own and getting her family to help w/ cleanup. I can see misty running in the back door (cause I think it was used more than what they infer) just before ron pulls in and since she had the kidnapping theme going in her head, thought she had to prop the back door and then she threw the dirty clothes that were on the floor into the washer, ran to the front door dialed rons number than saw him pull in??

In my second theory w/ ron involved, I believe someone else staged the house and threw the dirty clothes in the washer to get them out of the way, propped the back door to carry things out and told ron and misty to say that the kidnapper must of come in the back door but no one had time to consider the self closing door part.
I have a few more hahaha(she types sarcastically) this case is making me crazy urg!

It is almost impossible to crack anyone when they have a defense attorney, even if incarcerated. LE can't approach them w/o the inmate screaming "I want my attorney".
