I don't think I believe the kids didn't have shirts on. There have been too many stories about what Haleigh was weraing, & this is another one. Even a really bad babysitter wouldn't have let them eat outside without their clothes. What would the neighbors think? They could've called CPS! Haleigh & Jr werre required by CPS to have their own rooms, so I would think they were required to wear clothes. This sounds like a convoluted story to explain why Haleigh's last outfit can't be remembered. Even though AS doesn't strike me as covering for murder, I don't believe her story of going to the trailer. IMO, it was made up & mixed up to give Ron an alibi...& when she was questioned about specifics, she had to have an excuse for not knowing what Haleigh was wearing. I think she went to the trailer, but not at the time she claims. I do believe she was mad at Ron for taking Misty back. She doesn't strike me as the mushy type, so Ron's feelings & immediate forgiveness of Misty, probably annoyed her. maybe she dropped by earlier & maybe she took laundry, but I don't believe the kids were eating outside, even then. & I get the nagging feeling that Ron was still home. IMO, she saw people questioning if Haleigh was harmed BEFORE Ron went to work, so she changed the time of her visit, to prove that the kids were at the trailer & ok AFTER he went to work. I don't guess the AC man supplied Ron the verification he needed. All of this is just MOO, in regard to the changing stories. MOO.

My thoughts on the subject are her story was inserted for one reason.. To provide an alibi for her grandson.. Their goal was to attempt to prove Haleigh was alive and well after they knew Ron C could be accounted for at PDM.. Plain and Simple... JMHOOTS

What makes it so strange though is originally it was to "prove" that Misty was home.

so they claimed, but it didn't really do that at all...unless AS knew the time that LE suspected Misty of being gone. & IMO, LE wouldn't give her that information. MOO.

What i find the most hard to believe is that the children or just HaLeigh, either way, were sitting in 40 degree weather on the porch without shirts on, i am sorry, but i just can't believe that. was Misty in a bathing suit? probably not, she was probably in a jacket or at the very least a long sleeved shirt. The kids would have been shivering in the cold with no shirts on.... and we are suppose to believe that they were sitting there content and eating with plates in their laps? I have been shivering and tried to eat, it doesn't work too well. It is hard to move when your muscles tighten up from being too cold. JMO

forgot to add....eating green beans

They claimed a lot of things, but you're right when they talked about Misty being there, they forgot to check what time they needed to prove.

Am I correct that "first" (when was it) version about the shirt sounded as if someone put on a clean shirt but then last week it was just that she hadn't taken her shirt off and AS told her to put it back on. I could believe Jr more than HaLeigh. Boys do that especially if daddy does.

I'm still thinking the 1st version was AS drove by the house & saw the children on the porch.

Wonder how many versions before TN starts doubting these stories.

Well, don't forget Ron's account of picking Haleigh up at the bus stop, Haleigh sitting in his lap and steering the car to the house, his kissing all of them, including Misty, goodbye and then happily driving to work to earn an honest wage to provide for his children.......yada yada.............you know...
GMA is not only confirming that Misty was there but that Ron wasn't since he was "at werk". She wouldn't dare allow LE to consider the stories going around that Misty was not there that evening. She HAD to make the story work.

And the more she talks, the more the story doesn't work.

Hummmmmmmmmmmm then I guess the deadlocked bolt on that back door didn't do the trick then. Or maybe the children being by themselves, decided to go out the "forgotten" front door and did not see the need to wear any shirts since they did not have anyone there to tell them that they had too. Ron made the statement many times that he personally made sure that he deadbolted the doors before he left for work, so which one to believe :waitasec: Were Ron's children securely locked inside the MH that evening as Ron stated or were the children on the front porch with no shirts on????????? It looks like a couple of Haleigh's FAMILY have made contradictory statements, doesn't it?

There has been nothing to change my mind yet regarding if Misty was there or not. I still believe that Misty was not at the MH that evening. She did not arrive until around 2:00 am the next morning. JMO

I agree, so they say, however in all reality GGMS never proved by anything she ever stated that Misty's could be accounted for that entire night other than the time she claims she went over there and Misty was there..

IIRC She first stated she was there a little after 7:00pm, she then changed it to around 7:30, then the time changed once again to being closer to 8:00..Last week on NG she once again claimed it was 7:30.
No way do any of those times provide and alibi for Misty as being home that entire night..It does serve as an attempt to prove Haleigh was alive after Ron C could be accounted for at work though..IMO. Misty was just too stooopid to understand what they were trying to achieve. For certain they weren't helping her out. JMHOOTS

Your right, the first version of the GGS going my the MH and she made it seem as though, the shirts were changed and this last one, she said she told them to get their shirts on. But again, i still have to question about the degress and the children eating. I try to think, if it were 40 degrees outside how would i dress? even wearing a jacket, long sleeve shirt and pants, and when i go out side for my smoke break, i can barely smoke b/c my muscles are so tense.

Call me crazy but i just can't buy what she is selling. JMO

Has anyone figured out what the "4th story" was that made TN start to doubt Misty?

I've been busting my hump trying to locate a quote by Shoemaker, but the only one I could find was the retracted clarified one. I can't get it to link, but it's in the Art Harris article, 'Misty Says Tommy took Haleigh', (September 26, 2010), so I'll quote a portion so I don't get it wrong. 'This theory sounds pretty crazy,' Shoemaker tells The Bald Truth, in response to Chelsea's blame game of puppetmaster behind his own daughter's demise. 'We have people saying he picked her up at the bus stop that day, and his grandmother dropped off laundry that night and saw the kids when he was at work. It just doesn't add up that he had anything to do with it.' So, Shoemaker is using 2 very sketchy claims as alibis for Ron. When you factor in that yes, people ARE saying Ron picked Haleigh up at the bus stop, (Ron, Misty, CC), but people are ALSO saying Misty picked her up, (witnesses), there's a problem. & why did Shoemaker bring up Ron at the bus stop? Why is it important to put him there...if there are witnesses who saw Haleigh later? AS &the AC man. The bus stop should be irrelevant, but Ron's attorney focused on it. It shouldn't matter who picked her up-just that she was there & alive at that time. I don't get it. MOO.

Last night I was working on a video project and re read something that I’ve read many times before:

On Feb. 9, the night after Croslin returned to Cummings' mobile home from the weekend of partying, Sykes dropped by. She said she was upset that Croslin had gone off and left her grandson without anyone to watch over the two kids.

"I was mad because Ronald let her come back," she said. "But it's his house. There wasn't nothing I could do about it other than be mad."

http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/...ed_ronald_and_misty_lost_their_way_long_ago_1

One sentence caught my eye in particular:

She said she was upset that Croslin had gone off and left her grandson without anyone to watch over the two kids.

I guess I’ve always pretty much assumed the period being referred to was Misty’s 3 day sex and drugs rendezvous with White Boy Greg, but GGM doesn’t say that, does she?

GGM clearly says she was upset. WHY? Because Misty had gone off, leaving no one to watch over the children.

When did Misty “go off”? Could it have been THAT NIGHT?

Is it possible the little children were really the only ones at home when GGM arrived?

Papa, I'm still more inclined to believe Misty never came back after Ron threw her out the week before .She and Ron C had not reconciled on Sunday night like TN would have us believe. Misty was not at the MH during the day on the 9th like she has claimed and Haleigh and Jr were never in the MH that night. IMHO..GGMS' story is a crock.JMHOOTS

The only problem I have is Junior. Now I realize that all we have is TN's comment that he says they were in the mh, but if he were saying something different, I think we'd hear it.

I have a grandson "days" older than Junior, so tend to compare & even in 2009 he would have told something. You would have had to listen and maybe interpret but it would have been useful, particular on significant events in his life. Not sure how long he would have remembered but initially he would have said who he was with -- or was he brainwashed from the beginning.
