From where I sit, it doesn't seem it would be necessary for whoever was there during the call, be it TN or someone else, to have to leave before LE arrived. They could just say they were called and they came right over...or they could say they ran outside to look for Haleigh. But it sounds like TN's voice, and she has not claimed to have been on the scene during the call, ever. She does say she was called by Ron while Misty was on the phone with 911, and claims to have gone right over when she got that call. If that's not TN on the 911 it's someone that sounds very, very much like her, IMO. Even if it wasn't her, whoever it was left before LE arrived because the police report doesn't list another person as being present. Why leave if your voice is already on a recording?
I cannot find the un-sanitized version of the 911 call that I listened to early on. If another Websleuther can produce that I would appreciate it and I am sure others would as well...TIA. The language throughout is atrocious but the flow of the call is far better because there isn't all the beeping going on, also there is a lot more being said in the background.
As for why someone hasn't been charged, probably because there is no physical evidence. It's very difficult to get a conviction without that, especially when LE says they don't know what happened, where it happened, WHEN it happened, or who among a group of however many actually did anything. Doubt in a jury's minds would be way more than reasonable.
