I was going over some old old stuff, and ran across this jailhouse video between Lindsay and Tommy. I had never seen this before. I don't know if it changes my theory, but it leads me to believe that Lindsay knows a lot.

She asked him what he said ,I think on the LDT, then she told him that was his chance to tell the truth, and asked why he didn't. She was so angry at Tommy. She said something about Tommy and Misty, and that he could go be with his whole incestuous family. I think this was just b4 she filed for divorce. The video in about 30 min. long, but it really gave me some insight into their relationship. I'm so glad Lindsay got out. She is probably the only Croslin with some smarts. JMO

IMO....Crystal and her family were in no way ever involved with what happened to Haleigh on February 9, 2009 eventhough many did their best to attempt to prove she and members of her famiy had a motive...
As I see it now, the 180 turn around in regards to Crystal NOW not being in anyway ever involved in what happened to Haleigh is due to the fact she is allowing herself to once again be manipulated by Ron C and his family..
Ron C and his mother have both proven they are good at manipulating and deceiving those who are trusting and gullible..
Personally, I would like to know what explanation they gave her for ever accusing her of hiding Haleigh in the first place... Certainly Crystal heard Ron C's remarks to his mother when he was first arrested and put in jail...It sickens me knowing she is allowing herself to be abused by these people.. JMHOOTS

Crystal has always appeared to be a very tender hearted person and has shown compassion for Ron and his mother and grandmother when they would gladly rip her eyeballs out if given a chance. I believe she feels their pain for losing a grandchild and for also losing Ron for 15 years. I think that she is trying to keep Jr.'s grandparents in his life regardless of how they have treated her. She obviously does not want to appear to be the evil mother that they would like for her to appear. This observation of mine doesn't in any way mean that I think she should be doing this. I truly think that she should stay as far away from them as she can. They would stab her in the back quick as looking at her and smile while they did it.

I could see why people would hate Ronald. Crystal claimed he was abusive. Witnesses told Kim Picazio, as well as CPS and LE that Ron was absusive. Ron had been known to put guns to women's heads. He is a drug user, and now convicted drug dealer who plead guilty while his daughter is missing.

Nothing to "love" or "like" about Ron. He is a dirty, shady, character.

In specific reference to your posted question below, I have once again reviewed this Bar Complaint document.

How does one explain crystal's former attorney saying she was served (reference bar complaint topic here)? Iirc Crystal also responded to the document, which means she had the document in order to respond. Back to motive, who would have a motive? I don't believe Crystal or Ronald would have a motive to harm HaLeigh, or want her to vanish. Who would? That's the big question

What she DOES say, in the snip below from page 10 and the beginning of page 11, is that Crystal was served with the ORIGINAL Petition to Establish Paternity which I posted at:

None of my posts or posted documents have ever stated that Crystal was not aware of Ronald filing for custody. She was certainly aware of his action. What Crystal was NOT made aware of, until after the fact, was the date or time of the hearing ordered by Magistrate Prugh which I posted at:

The Notice of Hearing was sent to the wrong address for a very straightforward reason which I had not posted up until this point. Ronald Cummings, more that once, changed the address furnished for Crystal in his original Petition and instead gave the court an incorrect address. Please note the address listed for Crystal in Ronald Cummings’ own handwriting shown in the attachments below.

The reason this is important is simple. Once the original Hearing was missed by Crystal, the die was cast as to this Magistrate’s view of Crystal Sheffield. Very few Judges like to reverse a previous decision.

There is no logical way for me to believe that Ronald Cummings didn’t know exactly what he was doing when he changed the address which HE furnished to the court.

That's how I see it too Em. So long as Crystal "behaves" and talks nice about the TN & Son, all is good. Of course the minute she speaks her heart & mind again, the smear campaign begins...again. (Be a good girl Crystal and just shut your mouth...) JMO~

I see CS as a very honest, direct person, who expected the courts to do right by her children. That was her biggest mistake...trusting these educated people to do their jobs. I hate to say this, but in this case her only chance was fighting fire with fire. Too bad the truth wasn't enough. and too bad everything she predicted came true. My only defense of the judge, is that he had probably never been confronted with so many lies and manipulation, & was blindsided. The magnitude of the dishonesty is mind boggling. MOO

We have wasted weeks here dicussing whether or not CS was a good mohter, whether she tried to ge/keep her children, comparing her to RCs motives and actions in relation to paternity of their children...and for what? It seems we are all in agreement now that CS did everything she could to protect them, not harm them. And none of this discussion helped find Haleigh or what happened to her. Enough of this :rollercoaster:. To give Haleigh justice, we, as adults, need to focus on the ultimate goal, to find Haleigh. thanks Nomore for your post. :twocents:

Why is that all of the Cummings family supporters, mimic whatever Teresa thinks happened? Honestly, When Teresa/Ron defended Misty, you all defended Misty. As soon as Teresa turned, you all turned on Misty.

When Teresa and Ron thought Crystal was involved, you all were sleuthing Marie Griffis/Crystal and anyone connected to them.

Now that Teresa and Crystal seem to be getting along, Crystal is now innocent to you guys and just A-OK with her, when she was DEMONIZED after she and Marie went on Geraldo and exposed Ron as a druggie and a batterer.

It's really weird. Reminds me of Cindy Anthony -- constantly changing who she thinks killed Caylee. Trying to point the finger at anyone BUT her off spring.

Teresa is doing the same thing. It is so apparent, and some people are going along with her crazy theories like robots with no common sense, or logical thinking behind it.

God, I hope Teresa gets arrested soon. She is a menace.

We have wasted weeks here dicussing whether or not CS was a good mohter, whether she tried to ge/keep her children, comparing her to RCs motives and actions in relation to paternity of their children...and for what? It seems we are all in agreement now that CS did everything she could to protect them, not harm them. And none of this discussion helped find Haleigh or what happened to her. Enough of this :rollercoaster:. To give Haleigh justice, we, as adults, need to focus on the ultimate goal, to find Haleigh. thanks Nomore for your post. :twocents:

HOWEVER, I do not feel any time discussing this issue has been wasted. Since the onset of this case we have been reminded umpteen-million times what a demon Crystal is and that Ron walks on water.

And now with Crystal's efforts being posted for all to see, we should be able to discuss theories and facts in this case, no longer having a need to reply to the all the carp. To me, getting these forums back to the intelligent discussion WS is known for is a huge PLUS, and never a waste of time.

Thanks Papa. We can agree to disagree, no worries. I'm on a phone now so I can't post more of why I believe what I believe is shown in the documents. I don't think any attempts were made to keep it private, jmo, and I think it should have been. It's been out a long time now unfortunately, and some of it is important and pertinent now IMO

I agree Levi. I believe Marie is the strong silent type. She may not say a lot, but I wouldn't ever want to be on opposite sides with her. She walks softly, but I bet she can carry a big stick if she has to. You can tell how much she loves Crystal, and Haleigh. IMO

I agree krkrjx, when you read posts stating the Crystal had a motive for getting rid of Haleigh in order to keep from paying child support, then I think all due consideration must be given to investigate and challenge the theory until the theory is eliminated. For two years this dispute has been hashed and rehashed. Concerned Papa has furnished legal documentation and IMO, this theory has been thoroughly debunked. However, that said; I do not think that the defaming of Crystal will stop. It appears to be a great form of entertainment for some.

I don't think the time was wasted necessarily, because it reinforces the motivation for a massive cover-up. Seriously, how can anybody read those documents and NOT see the motivation? and then add those prophetic words to the 2 years of 'misdirection', and it's easy to see, IMO, that finding Haleigh wasn't a priority. The priority became about 'keeping the something bad that happened to one of the kids', unconnected to Ron. by bashing CS, by digging up her yard, by claiming Haleigh's alive in Texas, whatever...MOO.

Yep, I bet Marie's teeth have been ground to nubs by now for trying to keep her mouth closed around all the allegations the Cummings made against Crystal. IMO, she has shown more restraint than she ever thought she could do. I probably would have been arrested for assault by now. I admire her self-control.
