General theory thread and motives rehashed #4

you asked what I was thinking, lol...I guess it was in reference to Ron injuring his hand by punching the door? Was that the story? & then the cops removed the door at some point, I think. never heard what they were looking for...whether it was something to do with the punch or the lock. MOO.

Now I am even more confused... Chablis asked...Did the cops report the door issue?

I don't understand her question.
Report to whom?
Is she asking IF they made a statement when they finally took the door?
Who told us they took the door?

I am assuming the news media informed the viewing public..

I do recall hearing at their one an only round table conference the door was missing or had been misplaced..
Do we know IF they ever located the door? JMHO

Re: The door issue along with Ronald's injury to his hand...

But we can report exclusively one minor mystery has been solved–why Ronald Cummings right fist appeared to be badly bruised after his daughter was reported missing at 3:27 am, Feb. 10. On the 911 tape, he sounds angry at Misty, and police tell me he was so upset his daughter was gone, he reared back and slammed his fist into a door.

“He was upset when he got home, and when he got angry, he punched a door and busted up his knuckles,” said Lt. Johnny Greenwood, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department in an exclusive interview with The Bald Truth, aka artharris.com.

Sources tell The Bald Truth that investigators saw Ron bleeding when they arrived that night, and immediately swabbed his hand (along with several other people who gave permission) for possible DNA to confirm his account, and state of mind.

In fact, Cummings pointed out the exact spot on the back door he’d hit hard enough to leave a hand print. As part of a thorough forensic exam of the trailer, police took blood samples from the door that matched blood from his wound, sources tell me, and ruled his account plausible and believable.

So, I know as far as the door being tested for DNA, blood, tissue, etc that was done very early on and confirmed by Greenwood this is what happened to Ron's hand..but in this article it does not speak about testing door as far as was the lock tampered, broken into, lock-bumped, etc..but I do remember this also being done to that door[will continue to look for an MSM stating this] and IIRC it was proven that as far as the lock was concerned that there was no tampering or damage done to the door's lock..

I don't think the cops are protecting Ronald Cummings, they are only housing him right now while he frantically tries to find a loophole that somehow makes all the recordings and evidence against him go away.

I think Ronald picked up Haleigh, and he had Junior and took the kids to Annettes.

I believe that Annette Sykes dropped off laundry that night and maybe dropped off the kids, maybe Ron told her Misty would be there to take over at anytime.

I think Ronald came home for a break expecting Misty to already be there, and he got home, the kids were alone, he raged out, killed Haleigh, and took her and disposed of her.

I think Misty got to the house at around 2 am to find Haleigh missing, and that is when all heck started breaking loose, and this is how she truly does not know what happened.

My final theory.

LOL, and a very good final theory at that! This could very well have happened. BTW I'm on my fifth final theory to date........:floorlaugh:

A very good older friend of Ron's who lived near Ron just prior to him moving to Green Lane posted that Ron showed him a dent in the fender of his car when he was asked what happened to his hand. So which lie are we suppose to believe? As far as LE checking the door for a bump, or break-in? Very early in the case LE stated that the door showed no evidence of being forced open.

Question: Was it the screen door that was taken for testing or the heavier inside door?

The screen door was in some photos still propped open, and IIRC there were later photos showing that door is missing. Did LE ever return it or did they keep it and replace it with another door? Or, did LE never take the screen door?

It was the heavier exterior door. Then LE lost the door! I haven't heard if it was ever located but I do suspect that someone helped lose the door. It was so late by the time that the door was taken in for processing it could have been wiped down a thousand times.......

I have lost many things in my life, but I have never lost a door. How do you lose a door??

:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

Actually, I don't think it's funny. I think it another devious ploy of either the LE or some of the clans in that area.

actually, I did lose a door once, lol. We lived in a trailer & a big gust of wind just took it right off its hinges & dropped it into the woods. We found it, but that was the deciding factor in us buying a regular house...that & the fact that we had to prop a heavy tool box against it to keep it from blowing away again. Those were my early married days & believe it or not, we still miss that house. you can take the girl out of the sticks, I guess, but never really take the sticks out of the girl. moo.

Did the cops issue a statement saying they lost a door? Did they confirm the sheets were out in the elements on a ramp?

I don't recall IF they issued a statement saying they lost the door, but it came out during that Round Table Conference.. I do recall someone in PCSO discussing Haleigh's bedding being taken out on the ramp..JMHO

Yes, but Dodie, at least you found your door after it was lost!

Boy, they sure don't keep a tight chain of command of their evidence. That's why I mentioned on another thread that I hope they don't "lose" the skull.

Does anyone know if we, the public, have a right to see the reports of who was in charge of the evidence (as far as the door only,) since we already know about it?

The screen door was taken in March 2009, March 11 I believe. The roundtable was back in June 4/2009. Not sure where a missing door story came from. On July 25, 2009 TJ Hart apparently was dispelling some rumours, and confirmed that all the forensic evidence is accounted for–even the back door to the trailer where the abduction took place. TJ's article was soon after Marie wondering if HaLeigh was alive, if they were feeding her and taking care of her and if they'd see her again. So hard to work on a theory imo when LE at that time was still considering stranger abduction, and not ruling out any possibilities. Now we don't know what they have, or think, that made them change their belief, or at least change their statements and say they think HaLeigh is deceased. :banghead:

Ok, so the cops have never ever said to the public they lost the door. Hmm, I thought the only grandparent worried about her eating was Teresa, are you sure maybe we dont have the articles mixed up? Is this article online still?

Nope, she is correct it was Marie Griffis that made these statements five months into Haleigh's disappearance..and yep, the article is still online..Here's the direct quote and link to the article in its entirety{?ph}

"If she is alive, are they taking care of her, feeding her? We wonder if we are going to ever see her again," Marie Griffis said

IMO.. Marie Griifis concerns were legit.. They were concerns any grandmother who didn't have a clue as to what may have happened to their granddaughter would wonder about and comment on...
Teresa Neves not so much.. IIRC When she heard the rumor Haleigh was spotted at a restaurant in the Knoxville area she non chalanty stated she was glad to hear they were feeding Haleigh well...JMHO

Thanks SmoothOperator. I think it would be a totally reasonable concern, I think all of HaLeigh's family were concerned that she be fed and cared for, and hoping to see her alive. JMO

OMG are you serious? lol{and no it's no laughing matter}but the sheer lunacy of hearing that was said is just over the top.. You mean when told of the possible siting in Knoxville[at I believe it was a Cabarrera's Steak house or something similar in name]that Teresa non chalantly said she glad to hear that Haleigh was being fed well??..That is just so insane I can hardly believe it?!! WoW!

Strange, as often as RC was on TV, I don't remember him being that concerned about whether she was fed or cared for. He sounded more like he thought she was dead.
