and then again, LE may have just gotten sick of dealing with their lies, so they rounded them up the best they could until they get it all sorted out. My feelings have changed some on this. At 1st I thought it seemed unconstitutional, but watching them all go down without a fight, hardened me to their' rights'. Now I'm glad they're locked up and off the streets. No matter what the undercover guy was asking for, they sold the dope. Now I just think, 'tell the truth or rot'. MOO.

That's pretty much where I stand now, too. I have no sympathy for any of them. I hope none of them get out, and maybe in time one or all of them will get a demerit or two and lose whatever gain time they have earned.

As for the UC, he played his role properly. These stings happen, and it is not illegal for LE to lie to people, or to pretend to be someone they are not.

Are you saying you don't view the Cummings/Neves/Sykes clan as being as decpetive as the Croslins? IMO.. They have proven themselves to be far more deceptive and conivving than any Croslin could ever be or ever think of being.....JMHO

I agree, Em. And...the Cummings are far more sneaky with it...More manipulative. The Croslins are just not as smart as the Cummings(remember Ron's high IQ:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh, you can see through the Croslins a lot easier, JMO

It's not an either/or situation for me. I think they've ALL been deceptive but in my opinion, the Croslins are more deflective. Right now anyway, that's the way I see it and the recent 'Haleigh' picture reinforces my opinion...as did the 'JO did it' story. I think there are a lot of guilty people involved in this and I hope they all pay. MOO.

This is just my opinion here but it has been obvious from the beginning of this case that the media was focusing totally on the Croslin family as far as casting suspicions. The Cummings side of Haleigh's family did not get the intense look and investigation at all. To see the deception and lies you really had to purposely review every bit of information out there and find them for yourself. I think at the very worst, the hardest questions asked of Ron was why he was marrying Misty and why was he getting a tattoo.

The entire focus of the media was definitely on the Croslins and of course Nancy Graces bash of Crystal.

I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning....ugh, high winds but at least no tornadoes here TG.

Yep, massive destruction through the middle of North Carolina. Some counties under curfew. I'm still under a tornado watch and was under a tornado warning several times during the afternoon.

JMO but I think that the LE in Putnam County were not experienced in missing child cases and mishandled the case from the beginning. SBI or FBI should have been invited in immediately.

However, on a positive note, LE in Putnam and surrounding counties are more than qualified at arresting drug dealers and drug addicts. There is virtually a revolving door at the court houses and the fines collected must help substantially help the budget. Now, we have seen just that. They couldn't make an arrest in Haleigh's case so they did what they do best, charge them with drug dealing.

Sorry to hear about this tragedy in NC, Lone. Hope you and yours made it ok.
We had an explosion here today in Ga. It was a battery recycling place. I live about 5 mi away, and heard Popping sounds, then heard it again and several booms. This went of for about 20 minutes. Went outside and smoke covering my neighborhood. I was on FB at the time and the Scanner is posted there telling. Someone said that Lithium can procuce hydrogen and if not handled correctly can be very dangerous.Someone blamed in on the wind. We had tornados here last night and the wind was still very strong today. Our firemen were fighting the blaze, last I heard, for 3 hrs. Don't know if anyone was injured. Praying for the emergency crews.

FBI did get involved in the beginning. It was reported as a child abduction and they always get involved in that, no invitation needed. Once it was determined not an abduction, the FBI would need an invitation to stay, and I don't think they got one.

O/T just viewed your tornado photos, holy cow!!! That is some widespread destruction. I still want to move to NC though.

And I haven't seen any evidence that indicates LE did search that place on Magnolia...I haven't seen any evidence any other residences belonging to any of the Croslins or the Cummings/Neves/Sykes Clan were ever searched either.. Wait a sec.. I do believe I heard Tommy's residence and some other residences in the neighborhood may have been searched but I haven't heard of them searching Annette Sykes' house or anyone else in her family..

For the most part LE was hold up on Green Lane for almost three weeks...Doing what, I don't know but they were there.. They didn't even take the door until after they had released the MH on Green Lane back to the family...
BTW.. To our knowledge NO vehicles were searched either other than the van that was taken in.. Tommy even sold a truck right afterwards that none of us knew anything about until the LVA test and Tim Miller contacted LE about it... GGMS also sold a vehicle right after Haleigh was reported as missing... JMHO

Definitely, we are hardly on the Atlanta news on tv, we have been on 6 days this wk with 8 stories. You may have heard about the missing woman from here, car was found on I-75. Le put out word on tv that if she is safe to call. She called and said she had to leave, but our Sheriff only reported that she is safe, he understands her situation and it is not anyone's businees. It has been specualted she is at the battered women's shelter, which I believe to be true. When I lived in Atlanta, people from Cartersville would ask if I wasn't afraid to live in the city. My answer was that I was actually afraid only when I came back here. sorry for O/t.:innocent:

you asked what I was thinking, lol...I guess it was in reference to Ron injuring his hand by punching the door? Was that the story? & then the cops removed the door at some point, I think. never heard what they were looking for...whether it was something to do with the punch or the lock. MOO.
