By your logic, then the same could be said about any side effects from the THC in TM's system. Everyone reacts differently to legal or illegal drugs - IMO.
IMO, George brought all of this on himself. He has anger issues. He was 28 years old. Trayvon was 17. Teenagers do not think like adults. George was the grown up in this situation, so I'll save my compassion for the victim - TM.

And as far as any misdeeds by Trayvon (smoking pot, etc), I was quite an unruly teenager as well. My mother barely survived LOL. I am a law abiding member of society, college educated and working at a federal law enforcement agency. George had issues though, as an adult. Something like this was bound to happen sooner or later, IMO.
What I say in this post is my opinion only.
I still have questions as to why GZ was even carrying a gun that night. Sure he had a permit, but I know many people who have conceal & carry permits. They don't carry unless they have a specific purpose in mind. A gun should never be carried unless you have specific plans for using it & I can't see any reason carrying one for a trip to Target. That purpose might be because they are traveling long distances never knowing what kind of armed nuts might be out on the road looking to harm fellow travelers or if someone actually invaded their house. No one I know would be carrying in their housing project even though the projects had previously had burgulary problems. I once lived in a neighborhood watch area & never did the police tell us to carry a weapon & patrol the area. Being aware was the key issue & then we were to call police if we spotted a problem. My take is that GZ went out looking for trouble & he sure as heck found it. I think carrying a gun gave him & his ego a boost. Shooting someone just because you thought they were on drugs is no excuse. Even if by some chance TM attacked first, why not just slug it out mano a mano. I do think that probably both men let prejudice caused them to make bad decisions.
I guess 'don't shoot the messenger' doesn't apply in here.
The level of pettiness from some is mind-boggling. IMO
Or when TM tries to extricate himself from GZ, the heavier of the two slips, in the wet grass and hits his own head...on a bush, a tree, the drainage cover, the poop can, or even the sidewalk. We only have the defendant's stories.

Trayvon Benjamin Martin was most certainly a victim

If you get in a fist fight the degree this one was described, your hands get beat up, bruised and sometimes broken. This witness is not even close in his testimony. IMO
I just have a hunch GZ approached TM with his gun drawn or pulled the gun on him, hence the hysterical screaming. I think they could have fought over the gun.
IMO, this is probably one of the more civilized discussion forums on this case. Thanks to the mods, it's "safe" to come here and express opinions. There are a lot of free for alls on FB and elsewhere.
I like it here. :seeya:
Yes! Gavel to gavel HLN coverage of the Andrea Snyderman trial starting 7/28.
...or anything else in TM's system. Is there a full toxicology report? I would like to know if any other drugs were found. The information is out there, you just have to know where to look.

I have received a concussion. I know a little bit about this. Did <modsnip> need any supervision for potential concussion? None I have heard. IMO
