I think Guy reads here. :floorlaugh: IMO

Question : Have the Jury Instructions been read to the jury ?

THANKS !

IMO, I think that has very little to do with whether people actually believe GZ's weird story, and more to do with the fact that people have taken political, racial, and ideological sides over this story. It's not about a dead teenager anymore. It's people who don't like that the president dared to have an opinion about it (imagine that?). It's white supremacists hacking a dead kid's social media accounts. It's gun rights advocates carrying this as some sort of torch for 2nd amendment rights. It's people buying into whatever their favorite pundit on Fox has to say about the whole thing. If you really look at the evidence of the case, and GZ's various stories about it, it's difficult to believe what he has to say, but somehow people find a way. Imo, it's incredibly sad.

Sad indeed.

And it's okay to call Zimmerman names referring to his less-than-ideal shape I guess....

Dontcha know you can say whatever you want against Zimmerman but God forbid you say anything about the boy that punched and hit him?

IMO.

If the tables were turned and TM was charged, he would be charged as an adult. I'm pretty sure nobody would think of him as a 'boy' or 'child'.

Just saying...

:seeya: EXACTLY !

IMO ... MOO ... JMO !

child child child kid kid kid blah blah blah...... call him what he was a teenager, a grown young man, late teens etc.

NOT an innocent little kid walking home from the store with skittles.

JMO

Well, I considered my 3 adult kids children when they were 17 and still in school. Maybe its just a mum thing.

I don't think prosecution looked enough to see it. In fact, I think the charges and trial are a sham. IMO

For guilty or innocent? I'm having trouble discerning where you stand.

IMO

  • #969
Innocent until proven guilty. George has not been proven guilty.

JMO

Right. The State has to prove each and every element of the crime charged. All they have right now is ONE element...that someone is dead.

Question : Have the Jury Instructions been read to the jury ?

THANKS !

Not yet, DGC. I'm going to skip listening to that part since this Judge annoys me very much.

I'll just hang out here till the jury reaches a verdict.

Does the state not realize that in advancing the theory that GZ couldn't reach his gun because TM was straddling him concedes that TM was on top of GZ beating him up? JMO. OMO. MOO.

Yes. I'm sure that the jury has the image of Guy straddling his doll locked in their memory. MOO

I think he's actually helping the defense with that, so he can keep it up as far as I'm concered. I think every single woman on that jury knows that Trayvon was no child, so they must be wondering why the prosecution is trying so hard to get them to ignore reality. jmo

I wonder how old one has to be to be accountable for their actions in this country? I think even 14-15 year olds should be accountable. They should by that point know right from wrong.

Kathi Belich, WFTV ‏@KBelichWFTV 7m

The state is still asking jurors questions without providing answers. It's their burden to prove the case beyond any doubt.

Because by the end of May 2012 the truth was finally starting to coming out.

that's why

IMO
Yes but I was answering to a post that said GZ had virtually no support until the trial. So you bolstered my argument, IMO thanks

Philadelphia Children's Hospital treats 17 yr olds and my sons pediatrician does as well.

My son's pediatrician treats up to 24, since many are still in college these days, IMO

MY 24 yr old is still MY child but she is not A child.

:seeya: Thanks, rose ! I was not sure because IIRC, in the Arias trial they were read before the Closing -- and please correct me if I am wrong ...

IMO ...

Thanks for the laugh! I agree with the poster upthread who said it is now helping the defense. These jurors aren't fools. IMO
