Shaeffer is saying that he feels this current witness is getting turned by the defense.

I agree with Shaeffer. The defense totally turned that witness in their favor.

The evidence is already starting to show that he is in fact, innocent.

which is true, ALL the robberies were committed by black males.

But NOT Trayvon. Guilt by association of ?????

I have to agree with you there even though i don't think the evidence from her (from both sides) proves much of anything.

does anyone know what is in the email that the prosecutor does not want as evidence?

I did noT say that statement was made during opening statements. It was made during the hearing this morning by the prosecutor. If there is a transcript of the hearing, or a tape of it, it will be there.

Sorry. I should have looked back at your post to be more precise. It didn't occur to me that anything about buying a gun to shoot a dog would have been relevant to hearing this morning, so I assumed it was opening statements. In any case, I believe you :)

Profiling. Pure profiling imo. The fact he was a black child made him suspicious.

nobody is saying Trayvon committed a robbery because there is no evidence of that.

GZ's neighboorhood was being broken into by black males, He noticed a young black male who did not live in his neighboorhood just standing around and looking like he was up to something.

This is why he profiled or whatever you like to call it.

Yup this is true ;)

I personally don't believe GZ deserves life in prision or death, but I do believe he needs to serve some time for his actions, again, he put himself in this situation and he knew he had a gun on him. TM didn't know this guy nor what he was capable of doing. I also believe those screams are from TM which tells me that GZ had a few seconds to retreat. :twocents: This is strictly my opinion. :blushing:

Trayvon's mother said those screams were not her son when she was played the tape by police.

he was texting his gf!! That is all he looked up to doing. Since when is that suspicious

Profiling. Pure profiling imo. The fact he was a black child made him suspicious.

How about he was a stranger, loitering in the rain, in a neighborhood that had been plagued by burglaries? I don't care if he was pink with purple polka dots. I would have been suspicious too.

Hey Schuby. I know everyone and there brother has said "George lied" about the money. But do you know what that's based on? I know at the bond hearing Shellie supposedly lied by saying she didn't know the amount in the acct. and offering up her brother or BIL to provide that info. But George didn't say a word about it afaik. Lester excoriated him for being a "potted plant," but everyone knows that the defendant has the right to remain silent and George wasn't even asked about it, iirc. His attorney was.

It's from recorded phone calls GZ made to his wife from jail. He was discussing amounts of money donated for his defense that he did not reveal to the court when it was determining bail.

still wondering what is in the email.....

So the prosecution does not want an E-mail to come in? is this correct?

Is this a break or the longest side bar ever?

Another new shift to his story and a good point as to why zimmermans claim about screaming is iffy at best.
The source said Zimmerman’s account of events hasn’t changed in his several statements to police — in which he said he was so unnerved by the teen’s behavior that he rolled up his window to avoid a confrontation. However, he never mentioned any of that while talking to the dispatcher.

The details revealed by the source provide new insight into what Zimmerman said happened in the earliest moments of his contact with Trayvon. And they may reveal the inconsistencies alluded to by prosecutors in the case.

One of those inconsistencies: Zimmerman told police Trayvon had his hand over Zimmerman’s mouth during their fight on the night he shot Trayvon.

The Sentinel’s source confirmed that Zimmerman’s statements include that allegation. But authorities do not believe that happened, the source told the Sentinel, because on one 911 call, someone can be heard screaming for help. If it were Zimmerman, as he claims, his cries were not muffled, the source said.

Trayvon's mother said those screams were not her son when she was played the tape by police.

I think it was Tracy who said that.
