In all these calls he sounds calm and just interested in giving proper information and was just reporting suspicious activity.

So far I hear nothing except a concerned citizen. Not crazy or over zealous.. Just a calm quiet guy calling to report incidents.

Why was GZ so reluctant to give out his address on the 911/Sherriff's calls? And gave fake addresses.

It is not like the suspicious perp could hear him on the phone.

Did he think somehow this information would be given to the supposed criminals and they would retaliate?

It's possible he didn't want people to hear his address so maybe he would not get robbed. JMO.

How do you know what is in the prior tapes? We haven't even heard them.

Some of the prior calls were on the web last year. I don't know if they still are or where to find them now.

I can't say I would buy a gun to deal with an aggressive neighborhood dog, but, I'm just not comfortable with guns (that is a statement about my personal feelings, not a political one). But if someone else was frightened enough of a dog to buy and carry pepper spray to deal with it, it is not unreasonable to me that that person would buy a gun to deal with it also.

This is not the whole story nor true.. He bought the gun for protection after being menaced by a neighborhood pit bull. Not to go out and just shoot a dog. And they took courses and got licensed.

The only time I hear him being cautious about his address is when he was not sure where TM was and did not know if he was listening. That to me is normal. If you think someone is following you, you don't drive straight home and bring them with you.

All the calls I hear so far is him reporting correctly. Loitering is a crime. Even in public places where it is posted.

I want to know what Animal Control officer gave this advice. My animal control officer niece (different county), says no way would they recommend getting a gun.

He did the same thing. Immediately called police. He got out when he lost sight of the unknown person just to let police know where he was.

If anything his pattern was to call police, get a description and keep his eyes on unknown person until Police arrived and could investigate.

respectfully disagree. In none of them does he follow the person. In none of them does he call them punks and *******s. Something was different that night and he has proven he knows what to do and didnt do it.l

Really, To me it does not matter why he got the gun.

But I live near Philly where Police have had to shoot pit bulls over and over to get them to stop attacking. Not all pit bulls but there are some that are raised in the city by Drug dealers to be aggressive. They will not stop coming. They will attack and keep attacking.

Since we don't have someone on record from the county saying it and will most likely never know who may have said it, I will agree, It is hearsay but nevertheless, Why he bought the gun is not relevant to the case. It is not someone who went out and bought one 2 days before and shot someone. He was responsible. He took the course. He had a legal fire arm and he had every right to have one.

One guy from his neighborhood (I think one of his friends) was on JVM last night. He said that during an 11-month period, there were maybe 7-9 burglaries in that neighborhood and that YOUNG BLACK MEN had been charged in ALL of them.
