and maybe, just maybe, he's actually telling the truth about what happened to him the night of February 26, 2012.

he's had several inconsistent stories about that night, evidence shows other wise. When your life is on the line, someone who's innocent wouldn't dare lie to the courts. His credibility is a big chunk of this case. How do we trust a liar of that degree?

Raine, the OP said it was stated by the prosecution in its opening statement. I can't say whether that's true or not since I didn't hear it myself. But I assume the OP did hear that. That said, I have no burning desire to keep talking about it lol

Also, get off the issue about the gun being bought to kill a dog.. If this has been said in court or MSM let me know. But right now I am seeing it as hearsay..TIA

For all we know maybe TM finally thought he was safe then all the sudden appears GZ and GZ confronts TM. We only have GZ’s word, TM is dead and can’t speak for himself so we are now left with GZ’s word as to what actually happened that night. And I for one believe that GZ is going to cover is butt as much as he can to stay out of jail, even if “some” what he says is the truth. This is a sad case.

No evidence of that.

State said under oath they do not know who started the fight and they cannot prove that GZ confronted TM.

I don't believe he lied about the event. There is evidence that backs up his record of events.

I think many innocent people lie under pressure and even confess when they are innocent.

People are weird about money. They just are. I know what you're saying and it IS a hit to his credibility but it doesn't make me discard everything out of his mouth as a probable lie. With any defendant, because they do have a motive to lie, one should have a healthy skepticism of their story and look for evidence to corroborate or debunk it. No more, no less.

Question, I keep hearing people say he was on neighborhood watch patrol this evening. I thought that he wasn't on patrol and was just leaving to go to Target. Was he actual patrolling this evening?

But we do know that TM decided to confront GZ, or at least that he told his friend on the phone he was going to.

Again, this confrontation would not have happened had GZ not been so gun ho. TM was simply out and about minding his own business and now he's dead. GZ put himself in this situation, not the other way around. :twocents:

I've read enough evidence and he wasn't arrested because his story was taken at face value without any REAL investigation. You see where he's sitting now right? In court and he was arrested AFTER a full investigation. Thank god for that.

This is only after people threatened to riot if he was not arrest. This is based on race and nothing more.

LE did do a real investigation and decided that George was telling the truth about what happened.

I agree with that, but, again, being gung ho isn't a crime and it certainly isn't murder.

Find me a link where it can be proven that GZ's stories have changed and that evidence shows otherwise.


So far his stories have been holding up which is why he was not charged with murder on the night this happened. Everything based on the evidence released backs up with what GZ has been saying.
