OK...wait!!!

I had not seen that picture.

They are NOT that close to the sidewalk. If what GZ said, that TM was on top of him hitting him and that's where he shot him...

Wouldn't TM's body have visible concrete around it?

He also said that he shimmied away from the concrete to get on the grass in order for his head to not be hit on the sidewalk.

Who's the lawyer talking? Sounds like Kevin Costner.

And there is your O/T post of the day. :)

exactly!

So I guess the prosecution thinks he broke his own nose and hit his head on the pavement himself ALL without anyone seeing or hearing him doing this?

Total BS........ they have no case and they know it.

The police were on their way and they could have been there at any minute.

Angela Corey needs to be disbarred and so does Ben Crump for this farce of a trial. The prosecutors need to as well.

On this note, couldn't the argument also be made that if GZ knew the police were on their way, instead of grabbing his gun and pulling the trigger, he could have pulled TM 'junk', kneed him, hit him in the ribs, used other methods of self-defense until the cops arrived?

I see a lot of coulda, woulda, shoulda in this case based on how different people feel they would react in this situation, or how they 'feel' the intent or the gravity of the situation was, that is why I still need to hear so much more..

Right now I just want to hug his mother. This must be so hard. This is a true tragedy. The whole thing.

This is very sad.

I bet if you found a picture of Kevin at the same age that Mr. Guy currently is...you would find they look a lot alike, too! LOL!!

It's kinda freaky, actually!!!

He is not allowed to react anymore than any one else. Not a fair conclusion.

There is no evidence of that. He had nowhere to go, so this is why self defense and not SYG ins in play.

I believe those screams right before the shot went off were from TM. I'm only going by my gut feeling since there is NO evidence on who is screaming. Logic tells me that those screams are coming from someone who knew their life was going to end then the screams stopped. Sorry, this is just my gut feeling and I wasn't there to witness any of this.

I agree. Those pictures were hard to see...

It makes me cry.

For all of you who believe it was TM, I would ask you. Have you ever heard a grown man scream in fear? True fear?

GZ was 27? I think at the time? My dh is 220 and 6 ft. Normally has a deep voice.. If I scare him, His voice goes up many octaves. Try it.. its fun.. ;)

I really believe it was GZ screaming for help. He knew the police were coming and was probably trying to get them there sooner.

I agree. If you are repeatedly yelling for help...terrified for your life.

Those screams wouldn't end so abruptly after you shot the person. That is really my strong opinion.

The screams would slowly diminish as shock set it...but not to instantaneously as they did on that call.

I mean, it went from repeatedly loud to just (pardon the pun) dead silence.

He was 28. I always though it was GZ sceaming for help. if you compare his speaking voice when he's talking to the voice of the person screaming, it matches.

Have any recordings of Trayvon's voice ever been released? JC

Why would someone who is beating someone else up be yelling for help? once he saw GZ's gun exposed, he could have got off on top of him and left.

He didn't

Did anyone capture the photos?

I want to see the one where the body is turned over again. I had a hard time looking, so I didn't really look for anything.

Was there blood?

I know this is a sticking point for some - the no blood on the hands. My understanding is the gunshot immediately exploded his heart - so no blood pumping, to exit the wound.

I want to see if my theory holds up with no blood on his sweatshirt.

George does look a little teary to me. I don't think he'd very proud of what he did, I'll say that.
