Yes, I saw that. But they link to a source for this claim and I cannot find it in that source.

Not criticizing you, just curious as to where they got their information from.

If you google "Florida burden of proof self defense," many links come up. I just used that one because it's not a personal blog (and we're not supposed to link to personal blogs). But there are many lawyer blogs and Florida sources that discuss this. While there are states where self defense shifts the burden of proof to the defense, apparently, in Florida the burden remains with the state.

It was dark and . raining and the area was poorly lit when GZ went after TM. Visibility was very poor.....See chart for sunset on that date:

Therefore, how did GZ arrive at the conclusion that TM was " checking him out?"

The back path area was poorly lit. Do you know what type of lighting was present on the actual street portion of the neighborhood?

I disagree, sorry I just cannot see the person holding the gun screaming for their life.

A person would be screaming if they had thier nose broken and had their head being smashed against the sidewalk.

They also would be screaming if they wanted people to come out and help them get this person off of them before they had to pull out their weapon and sue it as a last resort.

Was TM on top at that moment when the shot went off? Did anyone see him on top when the shot went off?

Hi PD, Trayvon was on top according to eye witnesses. Zimmerman called to the witness to help him, the witness yelled "stop" or something like that but Trayvon didn't stop so the witness went inside to call 911.

If those screams were GZ's, they would not have ended at the exact moment of the shot. Common sense tells me that if it were GZ, he would have been yelling for someone to help him after the shot..saying something, anything! He did not. Silence. Those screams were Trayvon's and were silenced because he was dead. JMO

No, I don't think it will come in. It was among the things released that were on his cell phone.

Source that they ended the exact moment of the shot?

I have not heard the gunshot on any audio, and the screams seemed to have been fairly intermittent from what I recall.

IIRC, GZ said TM was on top of him, and TM reached to the side the gun was on. That was when GZ pulled the gun. Can someone please clarify?

According to the police first responder, there were no street lights in evidence...so I shall try to find that info.

Yes they would have. Think about it..

I just listened again.. There is help and then a pause and then the shot. I think that is GZ. He screams for help, many times then he remembers gun grabs and shoots. There is no scream during the shot.

The crime scene photo showed TM face down. If he was on top and GZ shot him, he would have fallen face down and GZ could get out from under him. If GZ were on top and fired, TM would be on his back. Am I making sense or just babbling? Those photos really shook me up in a way I didn't expect.
