Yes, I saw that. But they link to a source for this claim and I cannot find it in that source.
Not criticizing you, just curious as to where they got their information from.
If you google "Florida burden of proof self defense," many links come up. I just used that one because it's not a personal blog (and we're not supposed to link to personal blogs). But there are many lawyer blogs and Florida sources that discuss this. While there are states where self defense shifts the burden of proof to the defense, apparently, in Florida the burden remains with the state.
