I highly doubt someone who was seen straddling and pummeling someone would be screaming for help at the same time. If that was their mindset, they wouldn't have initiated an attack in the first place. And why not just dismount the person and run away?

Did anyone capture the photos?

I want to see the one where the body is turned over again. I had a hard time looking, so I didn't really look for anything.

Was there blood?

I know this is a sticking point for some - the no blood on the hands. My understanding is the gunshot immediately exploded his heart - so no blood pumping, to exit the wound.

I want to see if my theory holds up with no blood on his sweatshirt.

I saw no blood. Even on the GS wound itself there seemed to be no blood. and It was the entrance wound

For all of you who believe it was TM, I would ask you. Have you ever heard a grown man scream in fear? True fear?

GZ was 27? I think at the time? My dh is 220 and 6 ft. Normally has a deep voice.. If I scare him, His voice goes up many octaves. Try it.. its fun.. ;)

I really believe it was GZ screaming for help. He knew the police were coming and was probably trying to get them there sooner.

I disagree, sorry I just cannot see the person holding the gun screaming for their life.

Why would someone who is beating someone else up be yelling for help? once he saw GZ's gun exposed, he could have got off on top of him and left.

He didn't

Because I happen not to believe he was being beat up.

We have to believe that in order for this to be self defense, right? I don't believe he was. Which is why I have posted so many questions/comments about his injuries.

Have any recordings of Trayvon's voice ever been released? JC

yes. maybe someone could find it for you. I'm sure if you went on Youtube you could find the video that's been released.

I think this would be the easiest way to find out what his voice sounded like.

I believe those screams right before the shot went off were from TM. I'm only going by my gut feeling since there is NO evidence on who is screaming. Logic tells me that those screams are coming from someone who knew their life was going to end then the screams stopped. Sorry, this is just my gut feeling and I wasn't there to witness any of this.

I think it's Trayvon screaming because it's sounds like younger voice screaming. I've listened to it over and over. Also, a person without a gun would need more help in this situation.

Trayvon's voice is also rather deep,, as in it had changed to a mans voice and didn't sound like a child anymore. imo

Was TM on top at that moment when the shot went off? Did anyone see him on top when the shot went off?

Even though there were witnesses that saw him being beat up, and identified the assailant as Martin?

It was over a course of several years, no a year, just in case anyone is wondering.

It is a lot so you could either say he was being really annoying or he was just being a caring neighbor.

We have one of those kind of neighbors. Until the Sheriff Dept., P & Z, Animal Control, and any other county agency shut her calls down, she had them all on speed dial. We didn't have 911 service back then.
She joined "Search and Rescue". She wore a side arm 24/7. 57 "reports" called into the Sheriff in just one year, that averages 1 a week.
She eventually was charged and arrested for stalking one neighbor and her husband for threats and intimidation against me, and disorderly conduct (violent altercation involving a tractor). They both made deals with the County Prosecutor.
They threw her out of "Search & Rescue".
She doesn't have anyone on speed dial anymore. We don't have County agencies or the Sheriff up here at least once a week, apologizing for showing up but they legally had to.
This happened over a 12 year period. It's been over for 5 years since they got slam/dunked by the Sheriffs but they are still referred to as the "Neighbors from He**".
I get a creepy feeling from GZ. JMO. He reminds me too much of my neighbor. She shot another neighbor's dog, when it was on the dog owner's property. She was quoted on one late night call to the sheriff's that she had her 9mm, watching the neighborhood and when she called again, they "better bring body bags".

IIRC, GZ said TM was on top of him, and TM reached to the side the gun was on. That was when GZ pulled the gun. Can someone please clarify?

He had a gun on him but he was being pummeled.

Think about it. He knows the police are coming. They could be on the grounds now. It is pitch dark as you can see in the pictures.. He is hoping someone will come save him and my bet is that he DOES NOT WANT TO SHOOT ANYONE!!!

He is hoping someone will come and when no one does he then shoots to save his life.

I do not feel that GZ went out that nite to shoot or kill anyone. I think he truly thought he was protecting his community. BUT, the persuit is where he went wrong. Yell out, I'm neighborhood watch, do you live here? Whatever.
But was it self-defense? Based on what I know, it's manslaughter. Knowing what I know now, that's where I would go.
Does 2nd degree involve intent? I am sorry for the family. Losing a child is the hardest thing in the world. It wouldn't matter if your child was shot by police robbing a bank, he's still your child.
The bad thing about this case is, there's no winning. People are chomping at the bit to tear that town down. Not residents, but outsiders. Bad thing is, there is a lot of gun owners in FL. How many more people will die because of this death?

Perhaps it was because he didn't want to have to use his gun on the person that was beating his head into the concrete.

George does look a little teary to me. I don't think he'd very proud of what he did, I'll say that.

He def. is NOT the vigilante murderer the prosecution makes him out to be.

The witness saw him on top of GZ right before the shot went off I believe.

Thanks. I haven't heard the recording of the screams or Trayvon's voice yet. Have they played that call yet?

It was dark and . raining and the area was poorly lit when GZ went after TM. Visibility was very poor.....See chart for sunset on that date:
http://www.sunrisesunset.com/calend...&back=Search&want_mphase=1&want_info=1&wadj=1

Therefore, how did GZ arrive at the conclusion that TM was " checking him out?"
Was GZ checked for drugs and alcohol consumption immediately that evening? Does he have a history of mental issues? I read he has a history of violence.

I don't think it's ever truly been clarified where the gun was, but it seems to have been in the front in what's referred to as the "appendix carry" position.

The story was that either Martin felt the gun when he was on top of Zimmerman, or his shirt rode up and exposed the gun. And Martin stated something to the effect of, "You're gonna die now", from what I recall of his statements. Don't take this as verbatim quotes, but close enough.
