The pictures they are showing now shows his head injuries better.
Yes. You can clearly see many lumps and abrasions. IMO, this strengthens GZ's self defense claim.

GZ didn't put himself in a position to make TM attack him. TM was certainly committing a crime as he attacked GZ...TM escalated the situation. You can't beat someone up for following you.
Where is this coming from? I've seen it repeated several times that he was on his own property, but all of the initial reports say he was something like 700 feet away from his house that was way farther south than his body was found.TM was not in the wrong by any stretch of the imagination in my estimation. He was peaceabley on his own family property when GZ targeted him.
GZ's filthy and hate mongering words to LE BEFORE he engaged with TM will prove this was a hate inspired crime. Exactly what is needed by the Prosecution for conviction.
Battery is, in fact, a crime.what crime??? do you have a link?? i haven't seen any evicedence TM was committing a crime, can you show me?

You can see for yourself in the evidence presented at trial. TM was witnessed on top of GZ, he inflicted GZ's injuries. That is a crime. Probably battery. Violently assaulting someone is a crime. You don't think the cuts, lacerations, etc that TM inflicted are indicative of a crime?
So the broken nose and contusions to the head just magically appeared?
This is a sincere question, not trying to start a thing.
How do you know GZ was walking back to his vehicle? How do you know TM was not within GZ's sight?
How would Martin have known he possessed a concealed firearm? Walking towards someone, behind someone, near someone, even asking that person a question is not a physical act of aggression that would cause self-defense to come into play. You can get all kinds of scared that a person is following you, but it doesn't give you the right to just haul off and punch them. If you're truly so scared, maybe you should use the cell phone you have on you to call 911 and report this guy with a gun that's following you in the dark.Defending oneself is not. And following an unknown kid in the dark whilst packing heat is pretty darn aggressive in my book.

Was watching the pics of GZ's head and face......I've had my nose broken twice in my lifetime. The area around my eyes went black and blue, and my eyelids drooped. My nose and area around my eyes went red immediately. Both times I was bleeding from my nose.
Not buying the "broken nose"... and I'm not seeing the "road rash" on the back of the head. When someone is pounding the back of your head into the concrete, you're head doesn't just smack straight into the concrete unless you're unconscious. You're struggling and you'd have more of abrasion type wounds. I also don't see any marks where TM would have gripped GZ's head to drive it into the concrete. JMO.
