we do not have proof yet of a broken nose or the extent of the injuries on the head, it is all speculation untill we see his medical records, if you google, you get 200 sites and half says it was broken, have said it wasn't, so imo you can't say 100& sure that the nose was broken until we see the medical reports

Medical reports were released a year ago. He was diagnosed with a broken nose.

i can't find that, and yesterday they said in court that none of GZ dna was on TM hands

and then there is this initial statement from GZ
Zimmerman told Sanford police officers that tidbit about Trayvon’s arms twice. The first time was when he was interviewed by detectives the night of the shooting. The second time was during a reenactment of the events the day after the killing, which I detailed last year.

“I don’t know if I pushed him off me [or] he fell off me, either way I got on top of him and I pushed his arms apart,” Zimmerman said as he demonstrated how he spread Trayvon’s arms away from his body. He told the officer that he didn’t remember how he got on top of his victim and continued with his version of events. “But I got on his back and moved his arms apart because when he was repeatedly hitting me in the face and the head,” Zimmerman said, “I thought he had something in his hands. So, I moved his hands apart.” Trayvon, he said, was face down. Again, he says the neighbor with the flashlight came out, he asked that person to help him restrain Trayvon. The police arrived perhaps less than a minute later and he stood up, holstered his weapon and put his hands up.

and yesterday they showed the pic of TM b4 police arrived and it showed that arms were under the body - so how could this have happened?

This is SO DANG CONFUSING! I swear, I can't follow this very well at all. LOL!!

But none of it sounds like what we have been told now.

I mean, where did we get Trayvon was shot while straddling George...that's not what I get from the above AT ALL!!!

This actually sounds more like what the witness said...but George was on top of Trayvon!!

Why would a guy come out with a flashlight and need to have Trayvon detained...if he was already dead?

I swear, I read this 50 times and it makes zero sense to me. Even if I forget what is currently being discussed (George was on his back and he shot Trayvon while he was on top of him)

I have had such a hard time accepting that the large flashlight of GZ had no trace evidence on it. What caused those circular red marks on GZ head?
If GZ's head was pounded on flat concrete, why is it that there are those red pattern marks on his head?
My thoughts instantly take me back in time to a point when my abusive ex had self injured in order to try to make it look like I had hurt him.

Just speculation for me and thinking out loud and no facts here.
I am just speculating here and just wanted to add that this has also crossed my mind very early in the case.

I seemed to remember that when the case first broke in the first day or 2, we never heard about any injuries at all to GZ, but then a short time after the news broke, then all of a sudden there are pictures of the back of his head and stuff.

The bloody nose picture really disturbs me the most because in the very early reports, I dont remember anything at all about his nose injury. The photo looks swollen, but it seems other photos, the nose is not swollen.

Again, just speculation and thinking out loud and no facts here. Just a concern about what may or may not have been embellished.

One of the main reasons I worry about this sort of thing is because GZ seemed to have friends in that police station that could have given him advice or other hints on what to do once he ended up in the situation he was in.

That is quite irrational, and certainly not defending oneself. TM escalated the situation with the attack. You don't get to attack someone because you think they're following you and you don't like it.

Exactly, proof towards hate crime. There is no sane reason why he pursued a boy who did not look suspicious. In fact given GZ's actions, he was the one who acted suspiciously and I bet TM was terribly frightened by GZ's weapon, agressiveness, hate filled language and hatred.

What makes you think Martin was aware Zimmerman had a weapon?

I think maybe GZ tried to hold TM in place, maybe grabbed his arm or something and TM, already scared, maybe hit him then, so GZ shot him.

Also, I think GZ would have had the gun so that TM could see it, scaring TM further.

I have no evidence of this, just like we have no evidence that GZ did not show TM the gun, or that TM hit GZ for no reason.

I hope they also bring in the reason TM was staying with his dad. I hope they bring in why TM was not in school. I hope they bring in why the dad didn't go looking for TM that night.

Battery is, in fact, a crime.

I believe TM knew he was in imminent danger when he was approached by GZ. I believe TM did exactly as any of my own boys would have done to defend themselves if they were approached by a stranger who had been following and chasing them. They would have tried to hurt the stranger before the stranger hurt them, abducted them, attacked them, or killed them. I think this is was TM did and I don't see that as a crime, I see it as self preservation.

That said, I do think the defense is doing a very good job and I don't think GZ is going to be found guilty of murder. The man was so wrong for ever going after TM but I don't think he will be found guilty. jmo
